Even for a game made in 2017, it is not recommendable.
At least not from my side.

Why you ask? Let me explain from my view:
The graphic is not the best as you can see, which not always says it is a bad game.
At first I was completely confused what to do or where to go, until I found out there's a map and you should go to a marker.
The enemies only appear on a specific area and if you don't reach it nothing much is happening. As I said I was pretty much confused by the beginning and stood at one point for quiet a bit. Guess what? Yep, nothing has happened to me.
You also need to search for weapons if you don't want to fight the enemies with only a knife.

When you finally find a weapon it is basicall everything the same, go to the enemies spot and kill them.
Nothing is even a bit scary. The enemies can be fought pretty easily.

Well nothing much more to say but the game really didn't catch me at all, which replicates in my time spent in it..

Not a good game if you ask me.

Explosive, Exhilarating, and Unapologetically Fun!

Just Cause 3 is a masterpiece of chaos and creativity that delivers an adrenaline-fueled experience like no other. Set in the breathtakingly beautiful open world of Medici, this game combines jaw-dropping visuals with a playground of destruction that never gets old.

From the moment you step into Rico Rodriguez's boots, you're given unparalleled freedom to wreak havoc using an arsenal of weapons, vehicles, and gadgets. The grappling hook and wingsuit mechanics are the crown jewels of the game, offering endless possibilities for traversal and combat. Whether you're zipping between cliffs, soaring over oceans, or tethering enemies to explosive barrels, every moment feels exhilarating.

The game's open-world design is a standout feature. Medici is sprawling and vibrant, filled with stunning vistas, hidden secrets, and countless opportunities for mischief. The variety of missions and challenges ensures there's always something to do, whether you're liberating villages, toppling massive military bases, or simply experimenting with physics-based mayhem.

What sets Just Cause 3 apart is its unapologetic embrace of fun. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's its greatest strength. The over-the-top action sequences, combined with a lighthearted narrative, make it a joy to play. Even after hours of gameplay, it still manages to surprise and delight with its sheer audacity.

If you're looking for a game that lets you unleash your inner action hero while exploring a gorgeous open world, Just Cause 3 is an absolute must-play. It's a celebration of chaos, freedom, and fun that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.

Buy and play it finally!

Ghostwire: Tokyo is a masterclass in blending supernatural intrigue with immersive world-building, brought to us by the brilliant minds at Tango Gameworks. Known for their previous work on The Evil Within series, the developers have once again crafted a compelling experience, but this time, they pivot from survival horror to an action-adventure game infused with a unique paranormal aesthetic.

Atmospheric World Design

Set in a hauntingly beautiful recreation of Tokyo, the game captures the city’s essence while layering it with an unsettling, otherworldly atmosphere. From the neon-lit streets of Shibuya to the mist-shrouded alleyways, every location is steeped in detail and brimming with eerie yet captivating energy. Tango Gameworks has done an extraordinary job bringing the city's landmarks to life while populating them with spectral entities and supernatural phenomena that make exploration both rewarding and nerve-wracking.

Engaging Gameplay Mechanics

At the heart of Ghostwire: Tokyo lies its innovative combat system, which sets it apart from other open-world titles. Players wield "Ethereal Weaving," a form of magical combat inspired by traditional hand gestures and elemental powers. The fluidity of these abilities, combined with the strategic depth of exploiting enemy weaknesses, makes every battle feel dynamic and engaging. The variety of enemies—from faceless spirits to grotesque apparitions—ensures combat never feels repetitive.

The game also integrates stealth and exploration mechanics, offering a balanced pace. Collectibles like spirits to save, yokai to encounter, and shrines to cleanse add layers of intrigue, encouraging players to immerse themselves in every corner of the city.

Narrative and Characters

The story of Ghostwire: Tokyo is a blend of mystery, folklore, and personal stakes. The protagonist, Akito, finds himself sharing his body with a spirit detective named KK, and together, they unravel the mystery behind the mass disappearance of Tokyo's population. The interplay between Akito and KK provides a unique narrative dynamic, combining humor, tension, and emotional resonance.

Tango Gameworks weaves Japanese folklore seamlessly into the story, presenting a world teeming with cultural authenticity. From the design of the yokai to the rituals performed during gameplay, the game serves as both entertainment and a cultural showcase.

Visuals and Audio

Visually, Ghostwire: Tokyo is stunning. The use of lighting, reflections, and particle effects enhances the supernatural ambiance, while the detailed character and enemy designs keep players constantly engaged. On the audio side, the game features a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack that amplifies the tension and emotional moments. The sound design, especially the whispers and eerie ambient noises, heightens the feeling of isolation and unease in the city's abandoned streets.

Conclusion

Ghostwire: Tokyo is a bold and refreshing take on the action-adventure genre, offering a perfect blend of supernatural action, cultural richness, and atmospheric storytelling. Tango Gameworks has created a game that stands out as both a technical marvel and a deeply immersive experience. While the pacing may feel uneven at times, and some side quests might lean toward the repetitive, these are minor blemishes on an otherwise stellar achievement.

If you’re a fan of games that marry innovation with cultural depth, Ghostwire: Tokyo is a must-play. It’s a love letter to Japanese mythology wrapped in a visually stunning, supernatural package that will linger in your mind long after the credits roll.

Cooking in your very own fast food restaurant.

Not the best but also not the worst graphic, it is alright.
Sometimes the prepared stuff is despawning, sometimes it stays.

There are some cosmetics for your character but I hope there will come more soon.

You can only hire one workers of each class. Even with that help you won't be bored at all.

It has much more potential and therefore I hope there will come more.
But at the end of the day I still have fun playing this with my boss.

Still I recommend this game and it is worth the money.

Techland’s Dying Light 2 is an ambitious sequel that builds upon the foundation laid by the original, offering an expansive open world, an emphasis on player choice, and an exhilarating mix of parkour and zombie-slaying action. While it doesn’t completely escape some shortcomings, it’s a compelling experience for fans of the genre.

World-Building and Story

Set in the post-apocalyptic city of Villedor, Dying Light 2 boasts a rich and vibrant world that feels alive despite its desolation. The game introduces Aiden Caldwell, a Pilgrim searching for his lost sister. As Aiden, players navigate a story packed with factions, moral dilemmas, and branching choices that shape the fate of the city and its inhabitants.

While the narrative has its moments of brilliance, the writing can feel inconsistent. Some emotional beats land effectively, but others fall flat, often sidelined by weaker dialogue or pacing issues. However, the branching storyline is a highlight, offering genuine replayability as your decisions carry significant weight.

Gameplay: Parkour and Combat

The parkour system remains the crown jewel of the franchise. Movement is fluid and dynamic, transforming the city into a vertical playground. Climbing rooftops, vaulting over obstacles, and using a grappling hook are thrilling experiences that few games can replicate. The addition of stamina-based mechanics adds a layer of strategy, especially during tense chases at night.

Combat is visceral and satisfying, blending melee and ranged options. The crafting system allows for unique weapon modifications, adding electricity or fire to your arsenal for creative zombie dismemberment. However, combat can occasionally feel repetitive, especially during long sessions, as enemy variety is somewhat limited.

Day-Night Cycle

The day-night cycle from the original game returns with improvements. Daytime is relatively safe, with zombies clustered indoors, while nighttime brings more challenging, volatile creatures to the surface. Venturing out at night is both terrifying and rewarding, with greater risks yielding better loot. This mechanic adds a layer of tension and strategy that keeps the gameplay loop fresh.

Visuals and Performance

Visually, Dying Light 2 is stunning. Villedor is beautifully detailed, with striking lighting effects that shift from vibrant daytime hues to ominous nighttime shadows. Character models and animations are generally well-executed, though occasional glitches can break immersion.

On the technical side, performance is a mixed bag. While it runs smoothly on higher-end systems, bugs and crashes have been reported, particularly at launch. Techland has been proactive with patches, but some players may still encounter issues depending on their platform.

Multiplayer and Co-op

The game shines in its cooperative mode, allowing up to four players to experience the world together. Exploring the city and completing missions as a team adds an extra layer of fun, though syncing story progress can be cumbersome at times.

Final Verdict

Dying Light 2 delivers a thrilling open-world adventure packed with parkour, combat, and player-driven choices. Despite its flaws—ranging from uneven storytelling to occasional technical hiccups—it’s a memorable journey for fans of zombie games and open-world exploration. Techland’s commitment to post-launch support and updates also promises a brighter future for the game.

Score: 8/10
Dying Light 2 isn’t perfect, but its exhilarating gameplay and rich world-building make it a worthy successor to the original. Whether you're a veteran of the first game or new to the series, it's an experience worth diving into.
