Early Access Review
First of all let me start by stating the obvious. GHC has a ton of bugs and needs some love regarding optimization. However, it can still be enjoyed given enough patience. I've experienced games way worse off then this. A couple of the issues in some of the other reviews are *mostly* solvable by the user. I will save those issues for the end. For now, I will just talk about how the game play loop goes.

Beginning of a contract
The game itself has an awesome atmosphere. You walk into the house/castle/manor (Only 3 maps atm) and instantly feel threatened. Your goal is to identify what type of ghost it is, and to gather evidence based off of the presence of the ghost/occult artifacts so that you may exorcise it. Sometimes it seems as if the tools for this job don't work. The entity type scanner doesn't always read the ghost, the temperature reader/occ reader thingy doesn't always detect the ghost, and sometimes the ghost writing book doesn't display what the ghost wrote. But once you find yourself with a few pieces of evidence, you can begin exorcising the ghost. Thankfully the game actually starts you off with just about all the tools you need.

Ending of a contract
This is the fun part. Most contracts seem to end with you and your friends/randoms sitting around a Mother Mary statue or a crucifix whilst one person reads some religious stuff. This REALLY pisses off the ghost. The lights may flicker, the ghost may shout at you, but once all the chaos stops the house goes silent (assuming that your last exorcism step was the read from the book).

Now onto the bad stuff.

The multiplayer is... rough. They use the steam co-op servers and they hurt. You may go a few games without any issues, but often your friends will be frozen on your screen, the ghost wont be in the same spot, your hands may bug out, the game may get stuck loading, and so on. Some of those issues can be fixed, like the loading bug and the hand issue. But the others definitely need work. The visuals are ok for an early access unity game, I can't really complain about too much. The models look alright, just a little janky. However, the ghost models are pretty solid. The "Shadow" is probably the most eerie ghost you'll see.

Overall :
If you are a stickler about a game being a buggy mess, just wait. This game definitely has potential, and its a blast with friends.

Side note: I also intentionally left the Phasmophobia comparison out of this review. The game has enough factors to differentiate the two enough to not be compared.

Side side note: I also wanna mention this amazing moment.Me and my friends had a VERY [/b} angry daemon. It was pushing a cross into my face, causing me and the other two friends I was with to book it to the van. Once inside it was slamming the doors and it had the cross pushed up against the window of the car.
