While I fully grasp the concept of the 5 dimensions presented in the game, my absolute trash tier knowledge of chess lets me down greatly. If you know how to win chess, but struggle with the 5 dimensional mechanics, add me.. Please...

I originally obtained a bootleg copy of Darkest Dungeon from a friend, and often played it on my laptop at university. A few weeks later I decided I loved the game so much that it was 100% worth purchasing. Later that night I found it on Steam, and immediately bought it. Since then, I've also bought multiple DLC's and enjoyed them all thoroughly. Sorry for playing a bootleg version of your game Redhook, but if it wasn't for it, I would've never bought it.

If you like Harvest Moon's gameplay and Drawn to Life's art style, then you'll like this too.

I paid £6 for this game and I already feel like I should have paid at least £10.

I don't know what it is about this game, but it fails to keep my attention for more than 5 seconds even though the wider community seem to love it. It throws you in at the deep end without a tutorial and learning the mechanics can be incredibly frustrating. The game is locked at 30fps with no settings to change this either, and it seems to drop down to 10 when it feels like it. Just when you feel like you have the perfect angle and power, the universe moves around, meaning that you'll go off in some direction you never wanted. It's hard to make good predictions and overall just isn't a game that I enjoy and wouldn't recommend in its current state.

Pros:
- New void energy system improves upon Dishonored 2's, allows for more combos.
- New abilities are genuinely really cool, and have great synergy.
- Missions are inventive and creative.
- Introduction of contracts add an additional level of difficulty and a way to get more coin.

Cons:
- Enemies will sometimes notice you through walls, even when still and in stealth mode.
- You are limited to 3 abilities.
- New game+ lacks the ability to keep traits from bone charms, and will replace your abilities with Corvo's and Emily's rather than adding them to the rest of Billie's.
- Removal of Rune upgrade system means less customizability.
- Compared to Dishonored 2, this game is very short.

Dishonored: DOTO is effectively a big Dishonored 2 DLC with a new story and new abilities. However, new game+ lacking it's carry-over feature and the removal of the rune system feels like a downgrade. Each ability in Dishonored 2 had multiple uses and creative ways to ply them, whereas DOTO's abilities lack that versatility, with each one only filling its own niche. Still a fun game and worth playing if you enjoyed Dishonored 2.

Before you buy this game, ask yourself these questions:
Do you like guns?
Do you like shooting said guns?
Do you like seeing biologically engineered mutant creatures getting every part of their body blown off by said guns?
If you answered yes to all three, congratulations, you're a psychopath.

Subnautica is a single-player survival/adventure game that puts you under the sea on an alien planet with hardly any resources, and just kinda says "Good luck!" It does a great job of building a realistic and believable yet alien world, with unique and differing ecosystems all over the vast map. Each creature you encounter has interesting lore, including how they support and are supported by the surrounding fauna and flora. Collecting resources and building self-sufficient underwater bases is a fundamental part of the game, as you will soon waste away without food and water.
The story has you discover why your ship was shot down, as well as what other races discovered this planet before you. Each new location only brings you down deeper, where deadlier predators lurk in wait, all the while a mysterious bacterial infects all. You have to cure yourself and the planet in order to escape, and those other races might have left clues behind for salvation.

This game has completly made me rethink 3D shapes.
It's a great puzzle game that can be frustrating when things don't go your way (Especially if you're like me and have to plan your route rather than following blind luck) but it's still pretty fun to play.
It's simple design and music fit well and complement the games more complex shapes. It allows me to focus purely on the objective in front of me, which is what a good puzzle game should do.
The level editor is just as simple, just click where you want lines and they appear. You can save your levels as a code or an image to send to your friends, who can then in turn load and play it.
Overall I think this is a great game, especially considering the low price and amount of content and replayability.

The graphics are great if you have a beefy pc, but if you have a potato, expect it to look like a potato too.
The game has an option for every playstyle, whether you like stealth or explosions.
The game has decent replayability, as you can reset the outpost to capture them again or improve your scores on said captured outposts by playing outpost master. There's plenty of side missions and DLC as well. On top of that, there's also a map creator and a co-op mode, meaning that even after you have earned 100% completion rate of the game, there's still more to do. The problems start with the bugs.

When using the wing-suit the parachute will automatically activate when you're very close to the ground. This seems fine until you glide near a cliff. If you fly close to the ground just before the land drops off into a cliff below you, the game will start the animation for the parachute, close your parachute because you're close to the ground, but then you'll fall down the cliff face and die because your momentum is preserved.
Additionally, enemies can spawn inside terrain, and NPC's will sometimes float around in the air. Cars sometimes also spin on their vertical axis. Sometimes waypoints also completely vanish from the map and hud. These more extreme glitches are fixable with an integrity verification though.

Another problem this game has is the questionable key binds.
F is the button for picking up bodies and slashing your knife.
This wouldn't be that much of a problem if you could change it in the settings, but you can't, they have to be the same key.
I prefer stealth, so when I'm taking down an outpost and I press F to pick up a body and move it, I'd sometimes slash my knife instead, somehow alerting everyone in the base that I'm there.
Another bind that was horribly chosen is E. E is used to search bodies and pick up dropped weapons. If I want to search a body, sometimes I'll accidentally pick up their weapon instead, which throws my weapon out into an unretrievable location or just under the map itself, meaning I have to go to an outpost to get it back.

Even though these bugs exist and the bindings can be annoying, I still found it an extremely fun game to play, and would recommend it for anyone who likes open world FPS's.
