Oh the places you'll see, oh the places you'll go.
To say The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a great game would be an understatement. It's an enormous game with hundreds upon thousands of hours of replay-ability without added mods alone. With a rich and consuming Story-line and lorebase there are countless things to explore and discover. I would absolutely recommend this game

Skyrim has a vast and deep history, as well as a quite well developed first-TES-game-ever experience as well. Even if this is the first Elder Scrolls game you play, you'll most certainly get deep involved into the story. That being said, the replay-ability isn't shown off very well with the main questline(s), as they can get quite repetitive.

One major boost to your over all playtime would simply be the amount of things you can do or be in the game. From the classic sneak-archer to the crazed orc, there are dozens upon dozens of possible playstyles and outcomes to certain quests that you will most likely be able to find something to do.

Another great feature to boost playtime is the Modding community, which even after 8 years, and several re-releases is still going strong. There is everything from simple bug-fixing mods to complete 180 overhauls. Needless to say, you'd be hard pressed to find that you have nothing new to do or discover.

For Replay-ability, I give it 10/10

To be completely honest, I cannot think--off the top of my head--of any other game structured like Skyrim. That is not to say this is the first and only of it's kind, but even compared to games of it's own franchise, it is simply so unique that it outshines it's competitors. There's not a whole lot to say about this category due to this fact, however I can mention a few unique details. There are:

• Mages
  
• Children
  
• House Building

And that's just to name a few.

For Originality, I give it 9/10

As much as I would like to give this game a 100% positive rating, there are some kinks. Namely, Bugs. There are an enormous amount of bugs, most of which you are likely to experience if you don't get the 'Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch'[www.nexusmods.com]. Some of them are minor, others are quite game-breaking and possibly playthrough-ending.

However, the game is not an unpolished mess! Skyrim takes shape as a First Person, Open World, RPG. There are, like I said, many different playstyles, which complement this style of game quite nicely. The combat mechanics take a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it; it's quite easy to become a pro. (A lot of this can be changed through simple modding :) )

For Gameplay, I give it 7/10

Having logged in an astounding 19,000+ total lifetime hours accumulated from all releases I've played(including consoles and such(I checked)) I can most certainly say that this game is worth it. But don't take my word for it, get it!

For Overall, I give it 90/100
