I legitimately love this game. the PvE is amazing. the classes (for the most part) feel very balanced. i have like 2 complaints and nothing else.
#1 shock grenades are WAY too strong of a utility. being a contact grenade, a several second flash bang, an AOE DOT, and a sensitivity modifier. on certain classes like assault and vanguard it almost guarantees a free kill
#2 vanguards grapple is just a bit too strong. mostly just because it stuns on both ends of the grapple. honestly just tune down the stun on the initial grapple and its probably fine.
so overall i think the game is great with just a few kinda big flaws.

This is honestly one of the best roguelite games ive ever played. but i have one major complaint that legitmately kills some builds in later reincarnations.
and that is a lack of shield/health gating. the amount of enemies in the later runs who deal whole health bars worth of damage in single hits (or short bursts) is kinda high. so it leads to a point where whole characters just lose viability in tier 8 and above.
overall great game with one major flaw.

My god where do i start with this game? its the best of both worlds for someone who enjoys both shooters and souls like games.

Good:
* Great gameplay! it feels buttery smooth with very few issues. and the few issues ive encountered were patched very quickly.
* good balance. while there are clear best in slot items, every single weapon is usable into the endgame including the starter weapons.
* good and challenging difficulty. the base difficulty is well balanced with difficulty spikes in proper places and challenging mechanics. and each step up makes it more challenging in reasonable ways.
* unique campaign per person. because of how the game handles the campaign and randomizing most of it per person allowing for unique layouts.

Cons:
* somewhat grindy beyond necessity: this is directly tied to the randomized campaign, so its kind of inevitable with the design. but how it works is there are certain things, like weapons, that only spawn on certain tile sets. so far i think the two worst items to get would be the pulse rifle and plasma cutter.
the pulse rifle spawns if the world randomly spawns with 2 specific dungeons (i myself had to run for about 4ish hours to get the spawn).
while the plasma cutter just requires 2 unique instances of the same world, so if you get lucky you only have to run the world twice. aside from those 2 items i honestly feel like most everything else is pretty fair
* some of the difficulty is brought about through health/damage increases. but its not the worst, at the highest difficulty its (i believe) 250% health for bosses.

all in all 9/10 game and i cant wait for the DLC to come out

So far i enjoy the game a lot, exo suits fighting dinos is always awesome.
Pros:
gameplay feels polished
each exo is unique from the others in both visual and gameplay design
and the story seems interesting so far
the hordes feel properly hordy

Cons:
paid battle pass in a 60 dollar game
paid cosmetics in a 60 dollar game
said paid cosmetics are color swaps of much of the battle pass skins
no single player story (not the biggest con but it woulda been nice)

so far im enjoying the game, the guns feel really nice. but i do have 2 complaints
1) none of the sights work in first person, to the point its actually a detriment to equip sights
2) it also feels totally random for the lockpicking and lockcutting as to whether they succeed. and itd be good to see either a interactive system or just a percentile system to see the chances.
other than those complaints i feel like the game is in a good spot and cant wait to see more
