Game is unplayable. Was shadow banned after 12 hours of play time and now am not able to join a match. I have never cheated once, Have a 10 or so year old clean steam account. Got a game with 6 kills and got instantly kicked and shadow banned. Just spent around £30 on the game which steam has stated is non refundable. I did not receive any email or notification to say I am shadow banned or why. They are apparently doing this to hundreds of people daily. Just look online. I would not get into this game simply because you may get addicted then unable to play. I just want to play and can't how funny is that.

Game has remained in a broken state since launch. I took a huge break to give it time to fix up. And it has not. Still no mod support and still no real simulation. Many of the bugs are still in the game if not worse. And the fact that you can't reach even moderate level population without game breaking issues defeats the entire progression of the game. What the hell is the point in crafting up this city when you know it's only downhill.

I actually had to change my review from positive to negative because of some really pesky features that you later find unbreaable in game. These of course like usual will have to be fixed by mods. So I am going to point out all of the bad features to let you know what to expect. I really wanted to like this game and want everyone to know that I AM NOT just another fool jumping on the hate bandwagon.

Civil wars, Loyalty & Goveners.
So I had taken some land and needed a new governer for.. said land. His loyalty was of course not great because he was a new character and had not yet bee upgraded. Of course he has not many followers or infulence. But 1 turn later and BOOM. He has started a civil war for.. no reason and controlls a large army. He strolls through your lands taken settlement after settlement. Public order was high and in the positive so where did he get this army? Thinking this was a 1 off i tried again this time with my own "Loyal" army close by.. it happened again... and again. I understand that these governers might not be 100& loyal in a new position but civil wars??? really??? I'm giving them a job. 1 more point is Loyalty points, there are 10 negative loyalty points however all my civil wars start from people that have 0/10, not -1 or -2 they have 0. I don't think this should be enough for a civil war perhaps that character wil cause trouble, he doesn't like you. But civil war???

Broken Battle AI, Broken Archers and Broken Cavalry.
Often in battles the enemy will create it's battle line at weird angles so you can just fire arrows at them all day, and they wont move. In 1 battle the enemy cavalry spread into a long 1 thick line across the map border and din't move. Sometimes the AI also just sits there with no missile troops while i shoot thousounds of arrows at them, they don't even form sheild walls.

Sometimes archers stop shooting and just stand there... for no reason. They also don't shoot at what you order them too. Sometimes by clicking on them and ordering to shoot a specifc unit they completly ignore you and continue firing at someone else. Archers on city walls will often just randomly start running around the walls for no reason.



Broken Balance/Food system
Some factions are almost impossible to play on Legendary due to the limits of food production. You may only be able to support 7 units with ALL your settlements, while your super agressive neighbour has multiple armies ranging from 10-20 units.
