This game... I cannot put into words how amazing this war simulator is. The multiplayer is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ phenominal and the campaign is the multiplayer maps with bots to help you get familiar with your guns, the maps and the basics of the game.

Once you get into your first game after you have played the singleplayer. You feel like you're there yourself. You must be cautious of everything you do, if you crouch at the wrong time you could have a parlay of snipers firing on you and most likely kill you. Everything must be rationalized like in real war.

This game is just amazing nothing more to be said.
10/10 would have sex with.

As many of you have and or planning are planning to, I bought this game solely for the DayZ mod that is in Alpha state right now.

The game itself is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess, the voice actors are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded. A white guy voices a black man, and in the campaigns they voice of each character is split up by single word fragments like this. Corporal. Brian. Ortega. We. Need. You. To. Go. To. The. Bay. And. Smoke. Some. Hay.
Game itself is a bust with the story line being aimless.

DayZ offers a great experience with a near reality simulator of a zombie appocolypse if you dont drink within a couple hours you'll die from dehydration, same goes with food, and shock. If you get hit or fall down pretty far up, you can break your legs/other limbs and bleed out. Alot of realistic ♥♥♥♥ like that. I always enjoy myself with the game unless it's night time or darker. ♥♥♥♥ blows to play at night without night vision.
Great mod, super fun, and a great idea.

This game is just a clusterfuk of fun, you cannot get bored of it in my opinion. The story line is a little lacking you could say but it makes up for the grapple hook and tying people to your car and driving all around with them screaming behind you going 100 mph.

Not really in the game but a strong reason as to why I bought it at the summer sale was the independant multiplayer someones working on. It is fun even though it's not structured due to it being in alpha or w/e it's in now. You can enjoy playing with your friends rolling in helicopters ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on kids at spawn points and then going boat stunting. That ♥♥♥♥ is cash.

TL;DR Overall game 9/10 excluding and including the multiplayer.

Competative wise when they fix the major registration problems on 80 tick and under servers (aka 90% of all the servers) this game will be the next gen of competative gaming for the counter strike series.

The few "fun" servers there are as of 8/24/12 are really poorly made and simple forced. They arent made for the game its litterally like Call of Duty Black Ops, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ports that just dont work. Once the game itself has a great foothold and is balanced how it is supposed to be, then the "fun" maps will actually be fun.

Overall as of now i would rate it at a 8/10

In the forseeable future I know it will have, a 10/10. It is just a great concepted game, I mean ♥♥♥♥ you wear a helmet, but THEN you put a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BERET on top to make you look like a down syndrome chef! How can you pass that up!?

TL;DR Buy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game cactus.
