Regrettably, this is Malibu Stacy with her new hat. There's just not enough new content to justify buying the games afresh. I have also been unable to find any option to disable the 'duct tape' mod, thus seriously nerfing many of the darker areas.

Further, the original titles have been most poorly integrated into the whole product. It is not possible to have separate keybindings for each game. I would say that gamers like me who prefer to play vanilla Doom & Doom 2 exclusively by keyboard are best served taking the WADs and playing through something like DOOM Retro but the pointless censorship of the secret levels (complete removal of all Nazi symbolism & SS troopers) is enough of a 'little thing' to put me off even that.

You're best off buying the titles separately - but I can't say that the standalone Steam version of Doom 2 hasn't been similarly censored.

A triumph of modern RPGs and a clear flagship of the grid-based genre for years to come (which should give Eye of the Beholder II a much-needed rest).

Brilliant graphics, balanced gameplay and outstanding attention to detail have paid off here for Almost Human. I've played through this game several times now between GOG and Steam versions and there's still plenty of replayability left in there!

I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good 'sword and sorcery' romp. And, once you've finished playing the vanilla game, be sure to check out the abundance of worthy mods and levels in the Workshop, which also includes several adaptations of Dungeon Master to really stimulate those nostalgic vibes.

There are already so many positive reviews of this game out there, with good reason. This game deserves the time it takes for me to write one more.

LoG2 takes all the things that made the first one so good (read: reminded us of Dungeon Master) and does them even better while undeniably offering a solid game in its own right. This game is not 'better' than it's predecessor, just different in many positive respects.

Given the outstanding manner in which the developers have provided such an outstanding game that also pays homage to the classic, Dungeon Master, my only hope for Almost Human's future is that they're planning a similar take on Black Crypt. 10/10!

ETA that I have now (finally) completed the game and just needed to add that, honestly, there has been no RPG that enthralled me like this since Eye of the Beholder 2. Until now, that was the game I would think of whenever someone would mention a dungeon crawler. Now this is the benchmark by which all dungeon crawlers will be judged.

Only EA would think to produce a racing game with all the pretty bells and whistles AND LEAVE OUT MANUAL TRANSMISSION. I'm afraid to check the DLC list, because I'm pretty sure I know what I'm going to find there...

Graphically very nice, once you've worked through ten minutes of inescapable tutorials about how you can take photos and basically turn the game into a pseudo-MMOG. However, the lack of such a critical, fundamental feature has seen this promptly uninstalled.

I just lament that I'm out of time to get a refund.
