Unironically fun, played the zombies mode with randoms and a friend and managed to make it to round 30 after some time. We finally opened up the last door just to get trapped below destined to die, we accepted our fates and had to part ways, I still miss you Gecko boy and fat ♥♥♥♥♥♥ <3.

Great Game! The British "People" kinda ruin it but you can play as a robot at least! It also helps to imagine the brain dead zombies as british as well.

After reading refugee, an award winning novel published by Alan Gratz which shows the struggle of fleeing one's home country in search of a better life, i thought i knew the true struggle of Cuban Refugees trying to make it to America.

After reading the book, I quickly forgot about it and who the main characters were.

Unlike Refugee, Raft not only tells the story of cuban refugees fleeing to America, but puts you in the shoes of either a Cuban Man or Cuban Woman. Here you have to survive with nothing but a sickle given to every Cuban citizen and the broken wall of your house back home as your raft.

As a Cuban citizen, you use your quick thinking and knowledge of the cutthroat streets of Cuba to use the sickle to catch any nearby trash produced by the citizens of the United States part of a government program which mandates all trash be put in the ocean to save the refugees.

Time is not on your side, your boat begins to be followed by a "Red Devil", a machine created by the Cuban Government to kill any citizens attempting to flee the country. You will quickly need to expand your boat, craft tools, and use the nearby trash to find keep going to the promise land.

On your journey, you may find the rafts of other refugees who succumbed to Communism and lost islands which will have trash that you need to make it to America.

Overall, Raft is an unforgettable tale about the harshness of communism in pursuit of a better life. Raft can teach many lessons such as "better dead than red" and "One man's trash is another man's treasure."
