Honestly, it's a great game held down by weird decisions. It gives that old school FEAR level atmosphere but with puzzles and being sparse with enemies. The level design gets pretty confusing with going back to the same sections, but this time a new area unlocked for you to go to! The lack of enemies and enemy variety for each Act is pretty unfortunate - sometimes things hit the fan, and that's where they really overwhelm you with enemies.

WARNING: I will spoil the game below.

Weapons
The guns are fantastic; they're very AAA in quality. The handling, recoil, sound, animations, inspects, models, customization is insanely good for what this game offers. I would suggest when modifying the weapons that you can change out the barrel length to "long" or "short" and caliper so there won't be a need for 2 versions of the same exact gun. A lot of the variants of weapons feel identical. Making gun presets is such a good QoL improvement. You can make several of them and change them on the fly at a workbench. The gun pool is kind of small however, with there being 4 AKs, AS Val/SR3M Vikhr/VSS Vintorez, MK18, Galil ACE, 4 SG553 with 2 being 5.56 and the other being 7.62x39, AUG A3, Tavor X-95, 2 SCAR MK17s, SA58 OSW, 3 different MP5s, UMP-45, MP7, P90, M1014, Mossberg 590, M24A3, and KAC LAMG. A total of 20 primaries and 7 handguns. It sounds like a lot but when you can only get what you find in the level, enemy drops, or an armory. It becomes RNG and you'll use the same guns multiple times. Remember: armed enemies aren't that frequent and picking up their gun makes you drop all your mags you have stored up too. The trade off isn't really worth it in my opinion.

Act 1
The best set up for the games introduction. The scale of the level is impressive, immersive, and atmospheric. This is where you'll see most of the SCP's and decent level design. You'll see your usual Security Guards/D-Class, Fledgelings/Zombies mostly. They recently added SCP-3199"Humans, Refuted" to Act 1 in an area, and it's really cool. Sadly, you'll never see them again after that point. You will also see SCP-7566"Door Squid" crunching on the doors around the map. There are also several SCP Resonator"Dogs" roaming around. You might see SCP-173-B"The Sculpture" in the very beginning if you're lucky, but will encounter them in later sections while seeing SCP-1262"Seed of Destruction" infesting the sewers and SCP-098. This act is far by the most versatile with SCPs.

Act 2
It's a good level overall, You encounter SCP-7528 for the first and last time. It's pretty much a boss and this is where the game really picks up on running back and forth with puzzles while 7528 is trying to kill you. It's pretty fun when it's working correctly. The finale is excellent as you escape a meltdown. Not much more to say.

Act 3
In my honest opinion, this is where the game falls apart. You only encounter 1262 for the most part as it took over the entire facility, blocking off a bunch of doors and hallways. The level design has been pretty consistent but Act 2 and Act 3 is where it suffers from feeling the same. Every hallway starts to blend together, every room starts to look the same, and running around these places is really tedious. What you'll end up doing is shooting these blue sacs that will open up some blue flowers for you to shoot. You find all the flowers, you shoot the sac again and it'll move out of the way, allowing you to progress. You can ignore the vines entirely - they're hardly a threat since they don't seem to care about you unless you shoot at them. It took over 3 attempts to find the stupid door code to go grab an eyeball for the elevator. Pretty certain the door code was bugging out as I went to "Spectator mode" and flew around the map, looking for it. It wasn't showing up at all so the mission became impossible to continue. If you do manage, however, you're going to wish you didn't. You'll be racing against raising water with shooting more flowers, and surprise D-Class army on the upper floors. If you die here, it's brutal, as you wait for the respawn timer which will likely spawn you underwater if you're slow. Leading to permanent death. It's a miserable level to go through as it doesn't work properly, enemies spawn on upper floors where you can't get their weapons, the vines ignore you for the most part, the raising water section sucks, the stupid power goes out after opening 2 doors to look for the stupid gate code. Easily the worst Act.

Act 4 "Antarctica"
Not really Act 4. The vibe of the level is really nice. It's outdoor and making your way to the outpost is eerie as you walk through the snowstorm. Making it to the outpost, it's quiet and feels like something out of The Thing. Only thing about the level is there are only zombies. It's more of a survival as you can pick your starting loadout. Really recommend doing this with a large group since you'll have to survive as long as possible after restoring power. Zombies will nonstop spawn. It's a good variety from the other Acts but at the end of the day it's just a wave survival with no real ending from my experience. The build up is great and hopefully they expand upon it.

Final thoughts
$30 is quite steep for what it's asking. If it had more content then that price would be really good. For what it offers now, with a group, and first time play through it's a phenomenal time. Hits that horror shooter element on the mark with what it has. It's wide as an ocean but deep as a puddle at the moment. Yes, it's in Alpha and hopefully the devs can expand on the game more. SCP lore is plentiful and they can work with a lot to make a bunch of unique experiences. It feels too focused on making puzzles with finding gate codes, shooting this box, shooting this plant, turn this valve, shoot this pipe, run in the room that looks identical to this other room. It lacks real direction and you will get lost. It's a painful running sim when you're trying to figure out something.

1. AI could use improvement as all the enemies know where you are, but human AI tend to forget where you are and end up shooting walls.

2. There's a real lack of enemy footstep audio and weight to their attacks. Like you get hit and it feels like you've been smacked by a toddler with their arm asleep. The animations could use improvement but as of now, it gets the job done.

3. Guns are so good. I wouldn't want them to change that at all except for something like the SIG556 and SIG556 CQB being 2 different guns. It would be better to just upgrade the gunsmithing to change barrel, caliper, and weapon color.

4. Replayability isn't really there. The first two Acts are really good in there own right but it's not enough to come back and play them more than a few times. There is some change every play through with a keycard being in a different area, or Act 3 with the plants being in different rooms.

5. More animations and better feedback would be nice but not necessary. Like pulling an eyeball out of the admins head, removing a card from a guard, picking up items, scanning doors with cards.

6. The option to drop equipment or have it shared to the entire group/or have it visible who has what. Working with a group, someone could have a level 1 card, someone else has a crowbar, and someone else has a gas tank. It's cool that we have to work together, and having some sort of inventory system to show that. Some people may not be even aware they have a card and could be in Narnia while you're waiting by the door for them to open.

Glad the devs are continuing to work on the game. They have a really good foundation to improve on and would be a waste to see this potential and talent fall short. As of now, the recommendation will be positive.

Everyone is complaining about the AI, and rightfully so. No idea what drugs the devs are on to think 100ms reaction time from AI is acceptable. There are articles looking through the suspect AI code and, yes, it's literally 100ms if they're alerted. 200ms if they're not. The fact they can sometimes ignore CS gas and see you through it, which is essential to S rank all the missions is also so fun with their aimbot accuracy. Crazy how old women can pick you off from 70m away because they seen a pixel of your body through some boarded window. I could never fathom the reason why 9/10 suspects fake surrender to only pull out something every time you go to cuff them; the devs must have watched video compilations of the craziest criminals for their inspiration.
It should be a crime for devs to make games where AI gun you down in a blink of an eye while you have to yell at them, or suffer the negative "unauthorized use of force" punishment.
How fast these suspects can move in comparison to you is also insane. They can basically run around the level and come strafing across a door, with no gun collision, gunning you down so easily. They can also see you perfectly fine in complete darkness. Not sure if it's incompetency, negligence, or lack of knowledge from the devs to not have zones on the map that lower AI accuracy if they're standing in certain light levels or see a player in those zones.
It makes the game a chore to play. However, mods do alleviate the frustration but at the cost of not counting the score legitimately at the end of missions.

I have no idea why they don't have a difficulty scale based on how many players you have in a party, and the type of suspect they are to stop every suspect feeling like some ex-military solider.

Enough with the bad talk of the game, here's some good stuff:
When the optimization isn't pissing the bed, the game is fun. The level designs, briefing, weapons, uniform customization, and some audio is well done. The non-lethal weapons, pepperspray, and riotshield are underwhelming because of the reasons above but it is a fun challenge to get those nice S ranks.

Regardless of the huge negative of the AI being way overtuned. I do really enjoy this game and what it offers for the most part.

So you know, I'm mostly negative when it comes to games since in recent years - games have been so poor in quality that the fun factor has been stripped away. Making people mindless drones, waiting for the next skin bundle, battlepass, season to drop for that "sense of progression".

This game, thankfully, is just fun. That's what games are meant to be. **FUN**.
Incredible how one person that made Roblox mods made something like this while some AAA developers are struggling to even entertain people for long.

Though, I will say, as of now, seeing only 2 interior designs is boring but the rogue-like aspect of the interior changing does keep it interesting.
Already natural foggy moons with foggy weather is just a gray screen. Good luck navigating anywhere.
Enemies seeing you through shut doors.
Forest Keepers camping in an area and not roaming.
Other than those small complaints. This game is superb.

You already know the news on what's wrong with MW3 so I won't bore you with the details.
Ever since live service became a thing in gaming, is when it went downhill in quality.

Why make a great game when you can make a bunch of stupid cringy skins?
I was gifted the game and I don't even want it on my rig.

We need to stop accepting this trash. We deserve so much better than this.

Overall, a more than good game. Still feels like some things need to be addressed such as it disconnection me from friends sessions until I close and reopen the game about every boss fight.

𝐍𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄
• Some enemies/bosses have some jank hitboxes where even avoiding it, you'll still be hit. Could be skill issue/desync.
• Perma-stun lock.
• Challenger archetype feels weak early on where you still only want to rely on guns since a lot of bosses seem to live in the sky or hug ceilings. Your prime perk DIE HARD is also a negative where if you get put down during a boss fight, to only get back up for that boss to 1 shot the zone you're in, sucks.
• Some bosses spamming ads where you fight them more than the boss and have to evade/run when a boss exposes a weak point.
• Party scale gets pretty difficult at 3 players where we would suggest doing it solo to make it easier. Funny how that works.
• NPCs and lore is pretty forgettable, but the interesting world more than makes up for it.

𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄
• Adventure Mode is a nice addition to comb through multiple levels and grind through them.
• Armor is so much better where you don't have to worry about them messing up your build, while looking cool.
• Trait points are limited to 85 levels but are so much more impactful.
• Your character no longer feels sluggish.
• Finally, classes feel like classes and don't all feel the same.
• Sub-Archetype class is a nice diversity to be flexible and try combinations that work for you and the team.
• Archetype skills, that can be switched out. You're never truly locked in
• Level design is much more interesting even if there are random dead ends. Designers definitely knocked it out of the park.
• Puzzles, secrets, and illusory walls.
• Randomly starting on a new world.
• Crawling while down.
• Finally having infinite stamina while exploring.
• Map is a game changer. Wish it would highlight where your friends discovered.
• Tons of replayability.

Even though the game has a lot good things going for it. $70 for all this content and DLC on top is an amazing deal. I, personally, got my files corrupted after sinking in 28 hours for it to only BSOD on the last boss. I initial gave this game a negative review because I thought the game was crashing my rig but figuring out my rig is the reason for the crashes.

I do enjoy this game from time-to-time for it's chaotic realism and historical feel of authenticity. Came back to play this since other gaming companies are less about gaming and more worried about politics. After seeing the backlash from the community, my review can change at any moment depending on the condition of this game. So don't let this positive review fool any of you since I have my doubts.

Just like every modern gaming company when they inevitable get their hands on a passion project, to only destroy what made it great. It'll only be a matter of time before Team 17 will ruin this beloved game. Any devs reading this, there is no reason to change what no one is complaining about. You really don't want to piss on your playerbase that knows what's best for this game - it's the reason they enjoy it and keep coming back, wanting to see it only improve. Take a look at all the recent companies that manipulate, lie, release unpolished turds for the pass 5+ years, with awful communication skills, non-existent play testing or quality control. Gamers are tired of it and this is not a healthy way to keep players engaged or trying to get new ones.

Don't think we didn't see the online store. Of course that's going to be added.
So, Team 17, if you don't get your ♥♥♥♥ straight. It'll be a waste 60mil for nothing.

Got the game for $9 and honestly that's what I think it's worth at the moment. The AI is laughably bad for being hyper aggressive that you can just run within their attack range, walk away, they swing and then you punish them. Most of the time they focus on you too much that Louis goes to town on them without them really fighting back. Your Ichor skills don't feel that impactful so I mostly ignore them. I was using Dragon Lunge and more often I would dash through enemies to just attack behind them, missing everything. Combat is honestly too simple and stiff. I've been getting away with a giant hammer, heavy charge attacking everything into the ground until the gank party arrives where I run around the 6 goons at the same time.

It feels like most bosses just dash and spin around the arena. Their hitboxes are huge as well! I was behind Invading Executioner as she dashes away, hitting me while I wasn't touching her. There's been some questionable hitboxes at times.

I'm currently at the Anor Londo look-alike and at this moment, it's just disinteresting and boring to run around in. I'll give this game more time and try my best to get the full experience before I give it my final thoughts.

As for now; I wouldn't recommend this game at $60. Maybe $25 tops, if that's what you're willing to pay.

I highly implore you to neglect this game like the devs neglect you and this game. Just move on to another game and let this game die in shame. These devs manipulate your gameplay with patents - making nothing feel organic or authentic. The game only perfects being inconsistent.
There's so many things wrong with this game that it could contest the First Testament of the Bible.

Please go play something else that's worth your time. Coming from a long time player from the golden area of CoD4, it pains me to say it'll never be good again.

For the people who say Aragami 2 is different from the first one. They have a classic mode which makes the gameplay more similar to the first game.

I always wanted something similar to Tenchu Z and this is the closes I've seen to it so far. The first Aragami was pretty boring for me, so Aragami 2 was a fun experience alone and with some friends. To keep the review somewhat short; the complaints are similar to everyone elses'.
- The maps are repetitive. You'll be seeing the same locations very often, but some times there's open sections or closed sections.
- The online can be laggy and can be frustrating.
- The game mechanics are very simple, letting you dispatch your enemies with the same strategy. This can be subjective, whether you like simplistic or complicated game mechanics.
- The objectives are mundane. Go in, objective, escape. Although nothing is wrong with that, it gets old after seeing the same places.

I really wish there were more skills, like assassinating someone and hold them immediately instead of letting them fall on the floor, then picking them up. You can ignore a lot of the bad skills like Vampirism since combat is awful, and stealth is really the only best option.

Game is solid if you're looking for that Tenchu Z itch.
