More fun than I expected

Friend got me to try the game, Spent the rest of the day playing it non-stop. We never waited longer than a few minutes for a que and really enjoyed learning and getting better and even won about 9 games our first day. I looked up when they do new content patches as I was looking to see when new champions come out only to see that they stopped producing anything new and that this was the last battle pass. Servers will remain up though, so I suppose there's that.

Really wish I knew what could make a game so good spiral down so badly, it's a real shame.

I happened upon Evoland 2 on accident furing the winter sale. I wasn't expecting much but I was bored and hey, it looked cute. So I fired it up and much to my surprise it was a nostalgia trip like I've never had. While holding it's own plotline it adds in cheeky and charming little jabs at large game franchises and some extremely popular charcaters. It's lively, easy to follow, and one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of falling into. If you didn't write it off right away, I'd say it's well worth it if you're looking for the coolest blast through video game history in the coolest way.
