As a kid I LOVED playing this. Slicing and dicing up my enemies, watching the blood spew out and using limbs as a weapon was so funny... Even though my PC couldn't handle it and my brain was too small to understand the complexities of the game. I learned how to go into the file settings and boost my characters stats but I still couldn't beat this game. The day I saw this rebooted on steam my eyes lit up like the eye of sauron on barad-dur. I am loving every second of this and amazed at how challenging it still is (my young self never stood a chance). Aside from a few clunky combat mechanics this game is so worth it!

Die hard god of war fan here who has played all the previous games on the hardest difficulties (except ascension). I am still currently not a fan of the changes to the combat system.. I am struggling to love it, to be honest. It makes me want to throw my controller into oblivion with the rage of 1000 gods. I guess that is what this game has always made you want to do? I hate how i have to force myself to like it but i love it anyways. Kratos you are the man. That little kid though, go F yourself.

Refreshing, exciting and challenging remake of the game that changed the gaming world forever. Avid fan of the half life series and follower of the black mesa development since before its debut on steam. Highly recommended to anyone who has played the half life games and to those who wish to see for themselves one of the greatest games ever made in this creative, detailed and beautiful remake. Well done!
