Fallout: New Vegas is the best 3D Fallout title to date and why is that? Well in my opinion, unlike Fallout 3 and 4. New Vegas's story is more well written and it stick's true to the original titles by Interplay. The characters, Factions, quests and even the main character aren't so black and white, every choice has a consequence and advantage to them which will challenge players to think about what is fundamentally right or wrong and what is best for the Mojave Wasteland or your character.

While Fallout 4 did try to replicate this, it didn't succeed in applying them into the side quests like New Vegas has. Any Event or Quest can effect the reputation you have with other Factions which adds more replayability to the game.

So enough about the story, what about the gameplay? Well Fallout New Vegas is basically an improved version of Fallout 3. There's more mechanic's to deal with such as Iron sights, ammo crafting, weapon mods, Faction reputation and Hardcore mode. While the gun-play is incredibly dated it's still a small improvement over Fallout 3's, this doesn't mean it's great however, the game will refer you to the v.a.t.s targeting system as an away to avoid the clunky gun-play which leaves a lot to be desired.

The graphics of this game are very dated too. The character models look terrible, environment and textures are far behind the looks of more modern games, but they do the job. This was an Xbox 360 and PS3 game afterall.
