Great game, worth it as a casual game to play with friends and as a nice learning curve if you are new to the genre. Would recommend for casual and competitive play!

Boy have I spent a ♥♥♥♥ time in Stillwater, doing the most random ♥♥♥♥ xD. This game is a gem of the past and while argued a copy of GTA, has it's own unique style to it. The missions, although badly ported to PC tells a great story of the protagonist (which you create and name btw) after spending 5 years in a coma, comes back but only to find out that his gang, the " 3rd Street Saints" has gone underground and rival gangs have surfaced. The game progresses with you taking over the city again, with amazing story arcs for each gang. Leaving aside the main missions, there is a S*** ton of side missions which took me quite a long time to finish. Heck, even the radio system of saints row is better than GTA! I was always listening to something nice and had a variety of options. Overall I had a great time finishing this game to almost it's full potential and would highly recommend that this be your starting point if you want to get into the saint's row series. I give this game a SOLID 8/10, losing a point purely because of the bad porting and crashes. There is a MOD called "The gentlemen of the Row". Getting this will improve your experience greatly as it not only smoothens the game out but helps with the crashes. Next UP:
