The sunlight glides over the waves
Calm on the summer day, sharing no truths.
Is this a paradise? A wonderful patch of land.
Everywhere it surrounds me, alone in this world.

Yet a feeling of sorrow beguiles me, like staring into a dark cave.
I peer deep inside, seeing and hearing nothing, feeling uncouth.
Feel a fear, it wraps my heart, surrounded by beauty, as if Peter Pan
Nothing it gives to me, just imagery of the mind, a truth my way is hurled.
