Dialogue in this game is also a robotic parody of modern cultural norms. Character dialogue effectively mocks the player, as it attempts to cynically pander to an artificial projection of what 'youth culture' is estimated to be like these days.

I bought this game on release, returned it almost immediately, and then tossed money at Bethesda several months later, in order to explore whatever redeeming qualities might still be in this game.

Sadly, they just don't let you go wild enough with the star ships right off the bat. You know, because obviously it'd be a mistake to let me enjoy building star ships during the main campaign.
