Very good horde-based roguelite, 10/10 would recommend

TMod takes everything about vanilla Terraria and cranks it up to 11. 2 years of modded Terraria and I'm still not bored, its just that good.

I think its a good time to give this game a review. I want to preface this review by saying that the time i have played is not indicitave of how long ive played the game or the vanilla version of the game, i probably have 100 or so more hours on mobile and about 350 of my hours have come from modded terraria.

So great, you're looking at terraria and debating whether this game is worth it for the what... 10$ it costs? (currently on sale for 5 dollars). Well let me tell you, its price tag does not say how good this game is. What i can tell you is if you are debating on whether to buy the game... YES BUY THE GAME RIGHT NOW!!!!111!!!11

And now let me tell you some reasons why you should get this game.

First off, the gameplay: the gameplay is quite good, with most of the boss battles being quite challenging and there being tons of accessories to make moving around easier. There are hundreds of weapons, A lot of them being upgraded tiers of other weapons you already have.

Secondly, the graphics: while the graphics can seem quite dated at times they do hold a certain charm once you get to seeing some of the spectacles of the game, you will know what im talking about if you have seen the underworld or one of the lunar events.

Third, the extremely robust modding community: I am not kidding when i say this games modding community rivals that of minecraft and diablo, just in term of sheer scale, and quality. For real there is at least 3 mods i can think of off the top of my head that add in things like: lore, harder bosses, more biomes, fun weapons (chiefly the calamity mod does this well).

PROS/CONS

Pros:
-fun gameplay
-great multiplayer support
-mods that make this game which is already great 10x better
-great soundtrack

Cons:
-a rather anticlimactic ending
-updates on this game are rather infrequent, usually being spaced out by half a year or more
-some of the visuals are aged at best
-the game can start getting rather boring past the 50 hour mark, as there is not much to do once you defeat the final boss

All in all i would give this game a 8/10 (just had to drop a point cause the endgame is nonexistent) and its completely worth your money and time, especially if you want to delve into the world of using, and creating mods.

This game is sooooooooo fun. despite it looking not that good the soundtrack is awesome and the concept is unique. i love everything about this game (except for monochrome and cyan ofc)


this game also gets an update nearly every day so thats a big plus in my list.

overall this game is awesome and its free so why dont you just get it.

i like how you dont have to be on the internet to play.

CONS:bad graphics
kind of laggy at some points but its fine
