The remaster is okay. I wouldn't say it's amazing or anything... The game still feels old. I didn't really play Borderlands much before the remaster anyway. Got a few hours in and got bored! I don't know if a game can drop too much loot... But sometimes I just wish the game would be fun and not just keep throwing ♥♥♥♥ guns at me. Driving still feels a bit meh.
Also, I don't like the Americanised humour. A lot of it just isn't funny for me.
So yeah the games okay!
7/10 maybe if I had to?

It's a good game, I've played around 90hrs at the time of writing. Game runs very smoothly, graphics are pretty good for a game that came out a couple of years ago, sound design is also well done (love the voice acting). But, I expected blood. No blood in Warhammer? Please...
Oh... Wait it has blood, but it costs more £ ? Hahahahahahahahahaha. The game is already full price but the DLC just feels like the devs ripped a f00k ton of stuff out of the main game and charged more money for it! Total rip off. The game is good, but not worth £100+ for all the content. Just seems a bit greedy.
Wait for a sale!

Game runs 55-60fps for me in 1440p with ultra settings (i7, 16GB RAM and GTX980).
Love the overall art style of the game. For some reason it feels like some of the Hammer Horror movies I loved as a kid in the 80s.

It's got an interesting story (I'm about 19 hours in), great characters, really well done voice acting (hearing the geordie vampire hunter makes me laugh every time), nice combat (although the combat is a little slow until you get some better abilities - being able to boil someones blood until they explode never seems to get old), really nice sound (love the music - it's weird but I love it).

The system for keeping each area "happy" is actually pretty good (feels a little like a table top game sometimes - which is a good thing).
The game really, really gives you tough choices. Sometimes after helping some NPCs, they will be worth so much XP it's so hard to resist killing them, even though you know the area is probably going to suffer because of it.

The map is a little buggy but it still pretty much works.
There's a lot of talking in this game - I know that's not everyones thing - personaly I liked it. KInd of felt a little like a 1918 cockney fallout.

If you are a massive Hammer Horror, Bram Stoker's Dracula fan like myself I think you will love this game. Fans of action/rpg/third person games will definately find some fun here too.

On the negative side, some of the animations feel a little off (e.g. the running animation looks a bit meh) but that's pretty much my only gripe.
A really good little action game with horror and rpg elements. Love it! 8/10

I really enjoyed Tyranny. It had pretty much most things you would expect from a rpg.
The graphics were pretty good, the music is pretty sweet and I really enjoyed the combat. I do wish there had been more combat though.
The game is very story focused and not all of it is voice acted, so if you can't be ar$ed reading loads of text this may not be the game for you.
The story is where this game shines though imo.
I'd definately recommend Tyranny to any fans of turn based - RPG's.
Looking forward to playing the game again, but more of a rebel instead of a Kyros loyalist, which is how I played it first time round!
8/10 deffo check it out if you are into rpg's

I have (what I consider to be) a mid-range gaming rig (i7, GTX 980 16GB ram, blah, blah you get the idea). The game worked perfectly for me from day one. Currently running the game in 1440 and it runs around 90 - 100 fps on high settings. In 4K I get anything from 40 - 60 fps.
This game is optimised so well imo. It's so nice to see a AAA game running so well from the first day. Well done Arkane Studios.

I know the graphics aren't the most amazing in the world, however the game still looks good. Very good imo. I really love the art style of the game. Enemies are suprisingly varied considering they are all black smoke monsters from outer space. I could really see myself living on the station if it was real (minus the whole alien invasion thing ofc). Really, looks great.

I also like the gameplay and I'm enjoying the story very much. I really love reading through some of the emails and books which gives more info of the 'world' Arkane Studios has created. But expect to do some reading if you want to fully take advantage of the games story.
It seems a lot of the people on the space station in the game, are into some really geeky stuff. At one point I found a table set up for a pen and paper roleplaying game, GM screen, dice and character sheets included. It's little things like this I found to be really nice touches.

The combat is pretty good. Feels like a 90's shooter in some ways, which I liked. As people probably know, the game takes a lot of inspiration from other games. I see Bioshock, Deus Ex, Half Life, Dishonored etc etc. It works. Made me feel nostalgic in a way.
I do feel the game could have benefited from being able to look down weapon sites. but it's not such a big deal. I'm liking the games weapons however, the GLOO gun is a favourite of mine. It'll save your life in so many ways. I'd love one in real life, even if the only use I have for it, is to shoot at my ex-wifes mouth to shut her the hell up.

The neuromod / skill system is also pretty cool. I've never been able to transform into kitchen utensils in a game before. I have become more alien in nature though, so some of the games turrets have started firing at me, which I found quite amusing. This can be solved by sneaking up behind them and hacking the turret so it no longer sees you as a threat.
Being able to use junk to '3D print' your own weapons, ammo, med packs, neuromods etc, etc is fun.

I know this isn't the bounty hunting Prey 2 a lot of people wanted, but if you can look past that I think the game is pretty cool.

All in all, I'm enjoying this game very much. It's not perfect, but it has enough action, cheap jump scares, problem solving, story, plot twists and combat to keep me more than entertained.

If you are a sci-fi geek like myself, or really just into first person shooters with a story, Prey has a lot of fun to offer.
