Pros: The missions are great, the squad mates are memorable, and the weapons are fun. Republic Commando checks all the necessary boxes for this to be one of the best Star Wars shooters ever. Even for being so old, the squad AI and system still holds up today against other tactical shooters.

Cons: Because this game is from 2005, there is a lack of widescreen support. I just make sure to run it pillar boxed (black bars on the sides) so it doesn’t look stretched on my 1080p monitor.
