Fatshark definitely released this game before it was done cooking but they have put it back in the oven and it came out nice in the end.
Only downside is that it allows for cross platform play, and let's be real, we are all too good to fraternize with console peasants.

As of release, there is no option for private lobbies. You can't close slots or fill it with bots. Pugs are mandatory.

We are approaching 2023, and this game has mandatory pugging.

Let that sink in.

Hopefully that changes for the better soon, so this review can change. The game appears to have potential, but I can't really tell for sure. I recommend you don't risk it either. Exposing yourself to pugbrain can result in long-term deleterious effects, and we all need to stand up to advocate against self-harm.

Yes, this is worth getting.
Yes, its DEFINITELY worth getting on sale.

Remote play is available, but best played with friends in person. Particularly friends with short tempers.
Solo play works too, but its like playing smash solo.

Came for the Binding of Isaac style gameplay, but the storyline was far beyond expectations.

I didn't piece together the whole storyline until a couple days after I finished the game, and had to go back and look up all the lore unlocks to confirm and see what bits I completely missed.

Though its been over a year since I played, this game immediately came to mind for the Whoaaa Dude! award.

This game definitely earned each award it received. It's definitely one of the more challenging puzzle games out there. The ambience in the music and environment make it much easier to enjoy it without nerdraging in frustration.

The majority of the challenges in the game are authentic, and arent "challenging" by being tedious. The world is unique and interesting enough to explore every corner of it, but prevents you from feeling like you owned it. I finished with 100% completion and I still have no idea wtf just happened.

Only downside? Antichamber's save function more designed to maintain ambience than functionality. You will find the need to leave this game running for hours on end while you do other things in the real world.

Within the first 30 minutes, I found an angry mob protesting penis shaped foods, so I sacrificed them to the devil.

10/10, would goat again.
