Great stuff, nice art and fun enough gameplay really driven home by a great soundtrack and a bleak, emotional story (that I'm a sucker for)
Made me feel like I was playing 2d Armored Core with some of the bossfights (for better and for worse).
Sometimes you can lose Laika inside all the smoke and effects on the screen but your crosshair has a marker showing her orientation; there are a few little things like this that are lifesavers but not immediately obvious (like knowing how to boost, shooting vending machines, realising you can get the revolver ammo upgrade immediately, etc) which could add to your frustration if you go in totally blind.
I tried playing this with a controller and almost refunded it, god knows how people on the switch will beat it when it releases.
Would love a sequel / prequel / DLC to explore more of the world and more of the characters' stories

I was in the mood for a nice RPG that wasn't too moe or cringy and by the time this got cringy (in the last hour) I was too invested to not see it through.

ok gameplay - honestly the strategy is pretty easy so don't feel like you HAVE to grind cash, it might even be more enjoyable this way..
hits a really good stride (a wolfstride, maybe) from 30% - 70% completion

Gaijin charge $70 for premium vehicles and you're heavily encouraged to buy premium time so the grind isn't CBT-tier torture, if they make it so low BR games essentially require premium in order to break even then this isn't a F2P game anymore.

Any weapon that fires a bullet sounds terrible, sounds like someone is hitting a ping pong ball that's 30% louder than any other noise in the game. Some of the tank sounds are ok.
The AI is really unforgiving, enemy AI is 100% accurate so there's a bit of learning curve while you learn shell trajectories while also getting instakilled.
Going into sniper mode in a tank should let you zoom in further (like world of tanks and war thunder) and also the sniper mode crosshair is very minimal. (You didnt think to use german tank sights for the german crosshair? American sights for the Americans etc?)
It would be nice to have the option to play this like an RTS but you can't issue orders to any of your units, once they're placed they do their own thing.
Leaving this as a negative review because it's more likely to be read this way, I think this game has potential and I've joined the discord to keep up to date with it.
