Bad service and bad delivery on top of bad pizza.
The birthday girl in our department want to try the new pizza place.
Ordered two pizzas at 11:12am, was promised: '45-50 minute delivery time', nothing.
Called back at 12:32pm, was promised: 'on the way, be there in 5 minutes', nothing.
Called back at 12:59pm, was promised: 'on the way/very busy/sorry'.
TWO HOURS AFTER THE ORDER, the pizzas show up: over baked, dried out, room temperature, looking worse than a grocery store cheap pizza and tasting no better.
Birthday girl's Mom calls asking for a refund.
Gets smart-aleck response, the whole: 'We just opened, we're busy' story and an offer to comp us one pizza on a future order, remember we bought two.
We all decided that THERE WILL NOT BE A FUTURE ORDER EVEN FOR FREE!
That's five lost customers at one time.
Maybe we can all help them not be so busy in the future.
