The Original Left 4 Dead maps and characters are now in the sequel. Not only that but you can get L4D bundled with L4D2 so just keep an eye out for when it goes on sale.
That being said, L4D is still a great Co-op zombie shooter. Characters are memorable, Bill will never be forgotten.
Quite a few maps to choose from and they are all great and tons of fun.

Great game with lots of great memories.
Be sure to get it in the bundle with L4D2

Sniper Elite V2 is probably the better game of its series.
Most enjoyed playing on higher difficulty with the 'realistic' bullet mechanics.

Great game and will definitely shoot a man in his balls purposely again.

America's Army: Proving Grounds, A great fast but slow tactical shooter. If that makes sense.
Maps are small so you are constantly in the action but when you know one wrong decision can have you killed you take things a lot slower than just diving into a room and 360 no-scoping some dude in the corner.

Controls are pretty easy to get to grips with even if you don't play FPS games often.
Community is great, every server I've joined people are always using mics and you always have a nice conversaiton with the team. Of course you will certainly come across the odd salty fellow but that's to expect in most games.

No DLC or ingame shops, and all weapons and equipment are availbale right from the start of the game. Just find what you like best and get going. There are challenges you can complete to unlock different skins for your guns but nobody really seems to care about cosmetics in the game.

Best of All, its free to play. Grab a few friends join a server and make a squad. What's to lose?

They Lied.

A different take on a Strategy game with some interesting Gameplay, but the control scheme is horrific. Flying around and even just walking are challenges on their own. Not to mention to complete the Tutorial level on the easiest difficulty takes multiple attempts since it doesn't explain everything you need to know.
I just so happend to complete the Tutorial by the process of trial and error.

The Option to go full screen proved to be an issue. How does 2560x1440 not fit on a 3840x2160 screen?
I checked and Double checked that I had the correct resolution selected.
Also the option to Zoom out to see the whole map? Yeah nobody needs that In a strategy game.

Although Fun for a while there are many things wrong with the game that make you just stop playing.
Unfortunate since the game had alot of interesting aspects.

BadAss Game made into a Super Badass when Played with 3 Monged Midget Friends.
Great Game, Tons of Fun solo but even better Co-Op.
All Loot grinding Games should take note from Borderlands 2.

Great game with some great graphics. The Atmosphere of Last Light is what truly makes the game stand out. Of course the Story is awesome as well and I am definitley looking forward to Exodus.

Redux Bundle was certainly worth it.
Would Strongly Recommend you give the Metro series a go.

Great game, Alt F4'ed on some books flying in my face.

You've Probably already heard that it's a Darksouls like game. It is.
It's difficult, frustrating and you'll want to break something But at the same time it's fun and addicting.
I've clocked the game on NG++ and played the DLC on two of the playthroughs since when you beat the final boss the game instantly puts you into NG+.

I didn't find NG+ not to be any harder than the base game which was slightly disappointing.
But the combat system is very fun with the targeted body parts. Something New which i have not seen in other games yet.

Overall great game, if you enjoyed Darksouls i'm sure you'll enjoy The Surge.

Metro 2033 Redux; Fun, beautiful and leaves you wanting more.
Not sure If i had completed everythign there was to do, game seemed very linear and pushes you in the way you're meant to be going making it feel quite short.
I was able to clock it in 9 hours. Despite that, Metro looks amazing and the story leaves you wanting more.

Thinking of buying Metro 2033?
Definitely buy the Redux bundle, On sale I was able to pick it up for the price equivalent to a Burger Meal.
Can't go wrong with that.
