Well written. Great story. Fun mini games. Future updates sound interesting.

Some parts of the story I was meh about. PT like area, loops and such. Gameplay is linear and railroad-like. Normally not a problem, but when going back through for collection and achievements, it's frustrating.

I'm glad I finished this now instead of when I first played this as a kid on the PS3 14 years ago. Entirely worth it. The story is much better, unexpected, sarcastic, and hilarious. Loved it.

(Do not play this game with the RTX mod. It's not worth it and you will be frustrated in many areas because of the bugs.)

Alright. I feel like I have played this game long enough and it's been out long enough for me to put down my criticisms. It's going to sound like a mostly negative review, but while I am on the verge of "not recommending" this game, I think the game overall is "fine" and a lot of people will enjoy this game.

I will start off with my criticisms, since I think they're more important for people to read first.

- The text chat is HORRIBLE. It has a 50 character limit and the censorship is over the top. If you trigger a censored word, it doesn't *** it out like pretty much every other game does. It completely replaces the message with "Contains sensitive words." While your ♥♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥♥, etcs, are in this list, there are elementary school "bad words" included, such as "bum" "sob" "lmao" and probably a lot more that I haven't tried, since I stopped using text chat and used my mic in VC instead.

- The developers are based in China and seem to mainly favor their Chinese audience. They get new features early and the developers seem to listen to them more than the western audience. This disconnection shows with the low character limit in text chat and elementary school levels of censorship with the "sensitive words." It may make sense for Chinese to have a 50 character limit, but not alphabetized languages like English. Additionally their matchmaking system is not very good for an international, worldwide playerbase. You will occasionally be put in a game full of people not speaking English, which isn't the best in a competitive and communicative game mode like demolition. This additionally seems to affect their ping, not mine. It appears they do not have South American servers, which they instead connect to North American servers.

- This game heavily leans on the demolition game mode. It's the only ranked mode and it's the only mode they're making the most changes to. I think they should look into making some changes to Escort and add it in ranked.

- A lot of the challenges in the battlepass or other unlocks are based on playing demolition, which for some who do not like this game mode, will be frustrated with doing. The weekly "complete 150/250 rounds of demolition" is a complete nightmare for someone as casual as me. Especially the "win X amount of rounds in demolition."

- Finding anyone who actually is communicative in this game is like finding a unicorn.

- The Union system in this game is pretty flawed, where it appears that you have to pay to create one, but will get kicked out of your own Union if you stop playing the game. Additionally, the only way to get points in Unions is by playing with other players in the Union. Every time I have gotten online, everyone else in my Union is offline. This should instead be some sort of point/challenge system in which those points gained go to your Union, so you don't rely on grouping up so often. It's either your Union is super active or it sucks.

- While a lot of players mention the grindy system for unlocking the characters for this game, I don't mind this. It reminds me of the old days when you played a lot and grinded a lot to unlock things instead of paying for everything. You can buy your ways out of grinding, of course, but the developers often give you some freebies, which is enough that I do not mind this system.

- This game only has 4 modes. 2 versions of deathmatch (one being 6v6 and the other being 3v3v3v3). The 6v6 tdm is just shooting people. No abilities or ults. Not a good game mode for learning each characters' abilities. It's also super rare that you get placed in these games. I've always had it enabled in my rotation and I have only been in one 6v6 tdm within the past week or so. I would not be surprised if this mode was eventually removed. The 3v3v3v3 mode is actually quite fun, but has a weird win condition where as long as your team is not in last place, you win. You get to use your Q ability and your passive, but no ults. The other two game modes are Escort and Demolition. If you have played games like CS and Valorant, demolition is exactly what you would expect. Tactical shooter, like the game advertises. Escort is pretty flawed imo. There's no switching sides, just one and done. Whether you attack or defend is random. Other than that, it's my favorite game mode and I wish it was in ranked. Only demolition is in ranked.

Things I like:
- Although the game feels like Fortnite with Valorant/Overwatch elements, the game differentiates itself from other shooter games with a couple features that I haven't seen in a shooter game before (paper mechanic, wall running, flying off of anything).
- Gameplay feels great. Performs well, rarely see frame dips or ping spikes.
- Shooting mechanics feel great.
- The game is not overly complex. Anyone who has played other hero shooter games will be able to pick this game up quickly.
- The characters and guns feel pretty well balanced.
- This game doesn't seem to be very "meta" where you need a combination of characters (ex. Overwatch).
- The art style is great and does a good job at being what it's initially trying to be, an anime shooter game.
- It's not "waifus only" with a handful of male characters, but still a very female character dominated game.
- The devs seem to be working on getting this game to work on SteamOS.

Controls are fine. There's a couple new anomalies compared to the original desktop version, but overall it's the same game.

If you want software that generate 3D depth maps to view in VR, this is not it. AutoDepth is way better at doing this and it has an experimental feature for "Touch" part of this software.

The menu is lacking, the controls are frustrating, there's no Index support, and you can't move the video around. The quality of the depth map is comparable to AutoDepth.

The only thing that this software has over AutoDepth is the support for 180/360 videos and 3D videos. If that's what you're going for, then that's the only way I can recommend this software.

For the majority of people that would use this software though, just get AutoDepth.

Interesting lil game in the suika-like category. Better on Steam Deck.

I spent an hour figuring out how the game worked. You will too.
It's pretty different from most anomaly games. I applaud the developer.

I wanted to add to this review after playing again and fully understanding the game. If you have played Exit 8, this game is much, much easier. That's the only thing that I don't like about the game. It doesn't try to trick you. It moreso tries to scare you. You don't miss the anomaly, the anomaly gets you. Imagine playing Exit 8, but instead of going to Floor 0 when there's an anomaly, the hallway is blocked off until you find the anomaly.

The only thing that I would change to the game is to remove the hints (the poster hints, NOT the electric sign) until the player misses the anomaly a couple times. The first time I played the game, there was a poster saying that I couldn't leave the train until I found the anomaly. I misunderstood this as being the whole point of the game.

Overall, the game is short, but I think that's fine for $4. Play Exit 8 before you play this game though.

Unique, cute, and fun. An interesting perspective to control the character. A must play for any VR user.
