Absolutely love this game! Of all of the open world crafting games, this one doesn't anger me like ark and other similar games. Very little grinding is required, and it's actually fun.

I love how the planet changes as you make progress, so you actually feel like you are doing something good.

Found the controls and character movement to be very very clunky. I will probably revisit the game when it's not early access. Refunded until it improves.

Bought the game when it first came out and I hated it. I was pretty upset that the game wasn't all what they hyped it up to be. Now, a few years later, the game is fun to play, I enjoy logging in every day and I just really like the updates.

I love the missions and the challenges as well. I find the game is super fun with friends, but boring alone. Being able to play on a private map is nice, though the community is pretty decent.

What can I say about this game other than the fact that it is impressive?

I love the game. The mechanics are great, the fighting is fun, the building is neat... There's so much about the game that I enjoy. I look at it like Valheim but if valheim had a larger team and fresh ideas.

Out of the box, there are a few bugs, to be expected with early access games, but generally bugs that are discovered get fixed immediately. The map is huge and I am super impressed with the different biomes/areas and the diversity of enemies.

Being able to get to a destination however I want to is awesome too, like digging down into a cave instead of going through it?

Awesome. Love the game, can't wait for more updates.

Update - April 3rd, 2024

The Hallow Halls update was amazing!!! It was so much fun doing the dungeons with my buddy. Definitely not for single players. I do wish the loot and stuff were a bit more powerful, and I wish you could solo the dungeons but all in all I am very happy. Great challenge, super fun and rewarding!!!

Looking forward to the next major update!!!!

The game gets a lot of hate from hardcore Bethesda fans, but as a casual gamer, I really enjoyed it. I really like the combat in the game and the way things move and react to your decisions. I dislike the item menu and how it is managed.

There are definitely a few things wrong, but all in all it's a good game in my opinion.

This is a great little "game" for hanging out in private with friends or for streaming in private, but my god.

Go into a public room and it's nothing but bigotry, racism, homophobia, transphobia, loud children and annoying people.

Started out as a fun place, quickly turned to crap. Not happy.

It took a while for me to get the hang of things, but now I am really hooked. Super fun and not as much as a micromanaging game as most are.

I can easily get lost for a few hours.

Okay, where do I begin?

I absolutely love this game. True open world, a bit of a grind, but relaxing and the graphics are gorgeous!
I have played about 6 hours so far, and have been progressing along slowly, but mostly due to playing solo. I have since invited a friend to play (I bought them a copy of the game) and it's a lot more fun playing with a friend.

Things I enjoy:

-The building system. It's actually fun to bring wood to different places to actually build the structure, and see it go up.
-UTV. The all terrain vehicle you get when you start is SUPER handy! It's actually decent on fuel as well and can carry quite a bit of cargo
-Music. The music is very nice. I don't mind it at all!
-Overall gameplay. Honestly I like everything about the game, my only complaints are just small things to make the game a bit more polished
-Growing system is pretty simple to understand

Things I would love to see improved upon:

-At night when you go to town, the other cars have no head or tail lights. I would love to see this added to the NPC vehicles so it's easier to see them and not crash head on at night
-PC vehicle lights. I find the light are VERY bright on the PC vehicles, which can also be an issue. I'd love to see the intensity of the lights turned down a bit to chill on how bright it makes things.


Overall rating in my personal opinion is 8/10 as I eagerly await more content for the game, I swear I am not addicted

Not a bad little program for keeping things up to date and running smoothly

If you're a fan of LARP or D&D and love the idea of just swinging a sword, this game is for you. Honestly one of the best VR games I have played. I enjoy the ability to be invincible and take out some anger on some NPCs and just have a great time.

Lots of mechanics that are really neat, including being able to grab someone by the face, and slowly push a blade into their throat.
