You rename the vanilla vpk's global_actor.txt to anything like: global_actor2.txt

With this, the game will instead load the global_actor.txt in scripts folder.

If done correctly, the gibs and voices will match, the mod has already defined all of the custom models with the appropriate "gender", my step-by-step thing was just for actually making it overwrite the vanilla game's

actually, you edit the original vpk files of the game with notepad++

then you extract the modded global_actor.txt file from the mod's vpk, then you put it in your scripts.

Hey saw your comment on Extended CI and how you were giving a step by step part on how to get male and female to their correct voices and I did most of it step by step but I was just wondering on if you could give me some clarification on how to export the global_actor text from the Extended CI in notepad++ to the actual scripts file in the L4D2 file.
