As i sit here drinking tea, i stare into the void, contemplating why we are here, why we have such material possesions such as money, or jewelery. I sit for some time, browsing through the steam store, looking at what to spend my money on next.
But a thought strikes me. What am i doing here, alone, in this empty room, why do i not fraternise with fellow humans in this wild ride we call life. If things were different, i wouldn't be here, i would be with her, outside, enjoying the summer sun, the fresh air, tinged with the slight smell of roses in the gardens, enjoying the sips of chai latte i drink, while she downs the cup of hot chocolate she ordered, luke warm as always. we sit together in the sunlight, watching as it slowly lowers to meet the earth once more, giving way to the moon and night. Our eyes meet, my mind blank from the sheer beauty infront of me, not knowing what to say, what to do, my brain barely able to comprehend this amount of flawlessness. She leans in, i follow in suit, mind still dazed, not knowing what to do. She gets closer, and i do too, mere inches away from each other. But the closer we get, the more it fades, and the thought is gone.
I am back in my room, empty, contemplating what could have been if i hadnt of let her go for her own good. A tear rolls down my eye, and the feelings i have suppressed for years rise. I don't want to feel this again. It hurts too much. I scroll through the steam store once again, desperatly trying to find a distraction to prevent me of remembering the past. Of remembering her.
-80%, the screen reads, my eyes light up, the feeling supresses itself again, to lay dormant untill another time that i sit like this. "Sick bargain, time to buy the entire steam store again and never play any of them", i say, grinning with delight. "Gaben is love", i say, "Gaben is life".
