Played 200 hours on the Nintendo Switch and the PC port is a better performing version of that game.

Great action RPG focused around combat and crafting. The loop is pretty simple but really rewarding. You will be fighting the same monsters in the same locations with small variances but I barely notice it because the combat is just so fun.

There's a bunch of different weapons and each one plays differently. Each weapon also has a bunch of variations that offer different skills and buffs.

Endgame is focused around crafting armor sets and rolling for stats on gear.

Overall a fantastic game if you want to kick back with some friends and shoot some xenos.

There's a solid set of 12 missions with more to come and a decent progression system to slowly increase your effectiveness over time. Weapons have attachments and many of them add visual changes to your weapons as well as having a simple color system and the ability to apply a decal on your gun (more fun than it sounds.)

The AI buddies on your team when you play solo are perfectly capable of themselves on lower difficulties. The game warns you that bots beyond standard difficulty may not be viable.

Overall the game really feels like something that belongs in the Alien franchise.

For the price you get a great horde shooter with some progression to help with longevity.

Early Access Review
H3VR is the game that convinced me to buy into VR when the Vive came out and I constantly come back to it even if it's just for a small play session.

The game has a lot of great options for different headsets and controls so you can really get a feel for how you like to move around in VR. As a first VR game this is excellent since you determine your own pace and you can tweak things until locomotion feels comfortable to you.

Additionally the game is constantly growing and has regularly gotten updates for years from a very delightful developer! I highly recommend checking out his YouTube channel as he posts an update pretty much every week about the game and I love his presentation style.

There standard shooting ranges, a rogue style mode where you progress through a compound, and a bunch of other modes but I've spent almost all my time just between the shooting ranges and the Take and Hold mode. There's tons of firearms, attachments, and some other wacky weapons and more are being added all the time. During the month of December every year a bunch of new guns are added as a part of the "Meatmas" holiday event.

Overall I cannot be more happy with my time with H3VR and is one of the few games I never uninstall. If you have VR and enjoy shooting this game is going to provide hours upon hours of enjoyment.
