Amazing game. even tho you are limited by the lack of the fixtures and bodies (only modern ones), it's a good game. The workshop has a lot of good mods. Worth Trying!

HOI4 got me into strategy and made me like geography and RTS games. So, after a few months of Vic3 being released, I decided to try it out. (Basically, this is my first Victoria game ever). The game is overall beautiful, the graphics are amazing, the terrain, textures, the cities and even the map is. But my biggest complain is day and night cycle. Why? Why pay 5 euros on a simple thing like that? Why can't it be free?

Second. The Spheres of Influence looks very nice, and very tempting to buy... But 30 euros is insane. I get it, this is a business, but still, 15 euros or even 20 would be more reasonable.

Anyways, enough complaining about being poor. Let's talk about the game itself.

Personally, I haven't seen any bugs during my games. But the speed of the game dramatically slows down after around 1860-1865. And I'm playing on a PC with Ryzen 9 7950X.
The gameplay is quite nice FOR ME. I'm a casual gamer, and I don't have any problem with letting the game running in the background while I'm doing something else. The modding community is quite active, but not as good as HOI4's. Of course, it might be because of Vic3's age... That might change in the future. (Personally, I also find modding being almost like HOI4's!)

Overall, Vic3 isn't for anyone. If you are okay with letting the game running in the background, or doing nothing and just stare at how your GDP grows, then this game is for you! For me, it's oddly satisfying to see my economy grow and empire as well.

The game itself is pretty nice. The gameplay is enjoyable and it's a good time waster. But, the price for the steam version is just too much. I'd say that 5$ is perfect for this game. And not to mention that on mobile, this game's free. And, (from my 52 or so minutes on the steam version) it does not have any extra features. You could say that it's basically the same as the mobile version. Of course, better controls, better performance, but still. The price is too high.

once you install this game and play it, you cannot escape it. the gaijin snail took your soul already.
if you want to uninstall it, you cant. the 'remove' button just isnt there! (am I going crazy?)
when I am playing ground battles I always get killed by panzers, and BT-5/7. I start to think that this is a curse.

Conclusion: 10/10 game

EDIT: This game is very nice so far, and judging by the way the dev continues updating it, It will turn out to be an amazing game. Can't wait for more updates!

Oh boy, this game is great! its just like MSC but simplified! For Early Access this is a very good game! I hope that the development on this game will continue.

This game is amazing! Having the "Road to the black sea" DLC plus the romanian radio, it feels like in real life, the vibe I am used to!
10/10 Game.
