Best game ever.

Beautiful.

(First of all, my english sucks so bear with me)

So, I bought this game not long ago, thinking it would be a generic zombie-like game where you barricate your house and search for resourses while going gun blazing or some ♥♥♥♥, more of a survival strategy game rather than a horror game......... I was so wrong that now I can't go on for more than 2 hours long sessions each time I open it, because otherwise id ♥♥♥♥ my pants due to the anxiety it gives me.

Listen, I played many survival/horror games, but this one is one of a kind. It's scary, morbid, immoral. disturbing and misterious. I remember playing games like Resident Evil or Fatal Frame, heck, even Amnesia, and none of those gave me the feeling this game does. In those games everything is linear, you know what you have to do and you -kinda- know what to expect, but in this game you barely know if you're going to make it to the next day every time you see the grass around you turn orange.
Each night is different, it could be a chill night with some random noices and thats it, or you could have up to tree house invaders that won't give a damn about that dresser you put in front of that open gap in your room. You never know what to expect, the night events are so random and creepy that I just can't help myself, I fricking love them, while also shacking in my seat, expecting the unexpected.

In real life I think about this game, being all hyped like "boy I wanna play some Darkwood tonight", then when the night comes I kinda puss out and leave it for another day (wich, funny enough, means that its a really good horror game). You know what's the best part? By the time I'm writing this down, I have only played for 8 hours, second hideout, day 13. Honestly I don't know how I got that far yet, because every morning I question myself how long will I be able to survive, since the more I play the harder it gets. I remember running trough the silent forest and seeing stuff volt in front of me, or the fact of knowing that the more days passes, the nights will get worse, and I'm already having a hard time with the Savages walking around my house (or at least I hope they are only Savages).

To sum this up, I'm having a blast with this game even tho I play it very little since im a scared cat. However, it pisses me off that not many people know this game, I don't know why, since this game is scarier than most actual horror games.

So, I have a petition: I want you guys to give this title a chance. If you like to feel isolated from the world, being trapped in a dark forest, mixed with H.P. Lovecraft ambience and survival elements, grab yourself a copy and tell your friends to check it, it's worth every penny.

Also, a huge thanks to Acid Wizard Studios for this gem, I hope to see more potential like this in the future!
