Didnt age well, if you want peak pixelgun3d experiences have fun finding a time machine to 2016 or earlier. Game isnt what it used to be anymore. Fun for nostalgia, just careful not to let nostalgia make you spend money on this game it isn't worth it

Ignore the review bombing, people upset that there's microtransactions that are perfectly attainable in game without spending a single cent, and the game itself is quite enjoyable and good. If not for people b/tching and whining about the microtransactions infact, I would have never even noticed it was a thing, that's how non-intrusive and non-essential it is to the game.
Like another review said, dont review bomb the actual game because that sends the message to capcom that consumers don't like the GAME itself, not that they dont like the microtransactions. Just dont buy the microtransactions if you want to send a message. And it really will be a shame if because of this they don't make a new entry to the dragon's dogma series in the future because of this review bombing, because as a first-time player of any dragon's dogma title it's really fun.

Small nitpick, personally not a fan of how complex and in-depth character creators are nowadays. Games with such complex creators at the very least should have some sort of simpler options for those who are new to character creators, with the complex options still available to those who know what they're doing. Perhaps circular 2-axis sliders to edit multiple things at once like how phantasy star online 2 has theirs. Otherwise people who are less experienced in editing every tiny detail of bone structure are stuck with something that looks off or just straight up ugly.

There is a pet mechanic where you can pet any of your pals at any time you choose, after which they make a happy noise and look content with sparkles all around them. It's really cute. Also katress exists. 12/10

Used to love it, cringe cryptobro co-owner had an argument with based cares about the community co-owner and developer. Cryptocringe owner "won" and the game is fully theirs now, no longer a game worth playing at all not even if you like trash games. Based chad ex-owner Frooxius made a new game with all the original devs "Resonite" play that instead. NEOS is now permanently a cringe crypto based thing even tho crypto crashed 2 decembers ago so don't even understand their reasoning. Delusional

Played this game on mobile since before the second anniversary event (not quite when it released but I can confidently say that i've played Toram for a long long time). It has been the singular mobile game that I constantly came back to and the first mmo that i've invested enough time into to get a character into a high 100+ level.
It is a very unique and enjoyable game. Although the character customization is a bit lacking compared to other pc mmorpgs, lacking all the complicated bone structure nonsense, it has a decent amount especially with the hair. However the game is highly customizable with dyes and transmogs for equipment.
Some of my favourite aspects of my game are the fact that it isn't very pay to win (having ways even to get the premium currency through regular gameplay, and the alternative known as "avatar tickets") with this currency being used mostly for cosmetics, as well as the classless system which i've only ever seen once in a pc game which is long dead and I don't even remember the name of. I love being able to switch weapons and mix and match skill trees without the trees being locked due to "class" (unless it's something like trying to use an arrow-related skill using knuckles it isn't gonna work). That high customizability makes it very appealing I think for people who are a bit tired of the norm of having fixed classes with fixed skillsets without much room to customize your build besides equipment and such.
Up to the pc launch i've still played and enjoyed the game, they are constantly adding new content; new level caps, new monsters and bosses, new story chapters, new areas, new items and equipment, at times even adding entirely new weapon classes and skill trees (even random skill trees that don't come with a particular weapon). Ah the story as well, spectacular. One of the few stories in any game overall that I haven't just skipped dialogue and have even made me feel emotional a few times for some characters.
The PC launch of this game has made me overjoyed beyond what could possibly be prescribed. For me, this has been not just a good "mobile game" (because let's be honest that doesn't say much), but a good game overall including pc games. Of course it has its faults nothing is perfect, particularly the outdated graphics might push some people away, but I can assure you it is worth it for the experience. This is for sure a 10/10 game for me.

Game may have its hiccups here and there, but for what it is and what you can do it runs quite well. I love games that revolve around building and creativity and this one is no exception. Even if you get bored of the vanilla version eventually there are so many mods made by the amazing modding community to use. Definitely one of my top games
