I miss Monday Night Combat, but this feels close enough to play awhile. MNC had pretty much the same issues so if you could like that you'll like this.

It's like playing medieval roadhouse builder. I started with one regal room after another and now my tavern serves hundreds of guests at once in a "Medieval Times"tm in Medieval times. Like an Olive Garden in the year 1242. But it's fun getting there.

A fun little experience. It can get stressful if you upgrade the wrong way too early but easy to beat and get every achievement in under 8 hours if you're dedicated to that. Small story, clean mechanics, well structured and just a fun little game for the price.

Great way to pass the time.

The first act of the game, both in terms of gameplay and the writing (as it's all the stuff that you've seen in the trailers) doesn't do the full game justice. All the media also shows this game to be like GTA 2077, which if you try to play in the same way with directionless violence you'll probably be disappointed.

Once past that, you have an incredible story, solid character development choices and the best future city to explore out of any other game. It's exactly what I wanted after the first announcement in 2012, just over 8 years ago.
