It's impressive how a game can spend so much time in the intro/cutscenes without actually teaching you the basic gameplay. The actual game might be good but onboarding is awful.

TLDR: Fun game with a lot of potential. The story and gameplay have some issues but they never got in the way of enjoying the game too much for me. Since the game is early access the story isn't finished either yet but what's there is polished, I didn't encounter any bugs/glitches.

Pros:
Gameplay: The main mechanic of the grappling hook can get a bit to get used to but when you do it's super fun.
Artstyle: Despite being pretty similar to something like katana zero in theme (pixel art cyberpunk) the game looks pretty different but still nice with energetic animations and gorgeous backgrounds.
Story/World: What drew me in the most was the world itself, it's super interesting and I can'T wait until the story is finished and we get to know about all the secrets.

Cons:
there are a few things that got a little bit annoying while playing.
Gameplay: Occasionally I found it difficult to keep track of the levels, what I could grapple on, where enemies were etc. Sometimes it also feels like you can't beat the level on the first try because you need to know what is off screen. This was mainly in the overseer section
Visuals: When moving at higher speeds it got a bit difficult to distinguish which surfaces you could hook on and which you couldn't. A similar issue also happened with background sections looking too much like they're in the foreground as well.
Story: The story seems pretty predictable with the main characters having a plan -> something goes wrong at the final step -> they use a different plan. I also felt like the gameplay/story ratio was a bit too skewed towards story at times.

Tldr: Great online fg with an extensive tutorial but there are some issues that really need to be made fixed for it to be a definite recommendation.

As you can see by my playtime I really enjoy the game, for me it's a perfect mix of okd guilty gear and New ideas. Add to that the amazing netcode and presentation and you've got a great experience. I also have to add that the games mission mode does a good job of explaining how the game works so if you're new you won't be as lost as in something like tekken.

But the game definitely has some issues/shortcomings so you might want to wait until those are fixed.
The lobby system is fine if it works but there have been a lot of connection issues, sometimes even during a match. It seems most of these have been fixed by a server maintenance but there are still problems with player matches/friend invites.
Training mode is pretty in depth but missing some features that are really important like frame data or looping the dummy action lol.

These are my two biggest problems with the game, there isn't much single player content either tho so if you don't plan on playing online I'd think twice about getting this.

I played this game a bit when it originally entered early access and back then it was a little bare bones but after coming back now and seeing all the things added since then I definitively recommend it if the idea of a spooky racing platformer appeals to you. The main campaign isnt that long (I still have to play the two extra campaigns) but theres a ton of other stuff that can keep you entertained like user made tracks and even tracks made from sentences you type in. Visually the graphics are good, nothing extraordinary but paired with the art direction it works pretty well.

Fun fighter thats pretty easy for beginners to get into. Story/Offline modes are lacking but the main focus, online, is great(I mainly fought on 2 frame delay so more latency could lead to a worse experience).
Since the game has been out this long theres more dlc than base game so Id only recommend buying it when theres a sale.

Great game, would definitely recommend it if its on sale.
The wrold/characters are very interesting and the gameplay is fun and challenging. Especially the new added Hard and speedrun modes add replayability. The only "negative" would be the lenght but its still worth the price. Cant wait for the next one
