Classic bruh moment

I dont normally review train sim DLC, But this is a bit on an exception because I just wanted to say how lovely this route is.

Not usually a fan of fictional routes but Marsdonshire is pretty amazing, lovely scenery, a great variety of areas, and some pretty awesome landmarks. For the most part, I could genuinely believe this is a real place within the UK,.

The options of having a 3rd rail route, and overhead electric route and a fair few diesel routes really make this map feel varied and fun to drive around in.

My only criticism is the rolling stock, with the HST and 166 being pretty old for train sim, the models are pretty lackluster. Although of course, its understandable, since Marsdonshire was originally released 2014. Having their own Marsdonshire railways livery is a pretty nice touch.


Overall, Id definitely recommend this route, Its definitely one of my favourite in train sim. And easily my top favourite fictional route. Despite being from 2014 the detailing and varying scenery holds it up to even routes made today.

The hours are a lie, I've got 2k hours on gmod and I absolutely played more of this before it came to steam. My absolute all time favourite game, I'm so happy its on steam, so a wider audience finds out and gets to enjoy this game <3

Been following the progress on this game for quite a while before it was on sale, and all I can say is that im mightly impressed.

If you like things like Metro Dreamin' or OpenTTD, you'll probably love this

Its a little rough around the edges right now, but its still quite early on in development, and the dev(s) seem pretty good at continuing updates.

Even though this game is very EA, and only have one level right now, Its absolutely amazing in its current state, Ive spend so long optimising passenger flows and trying to create one way systems only to have that one lost and confused tourist walk the wrong way, its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing.

I cant wait to see what happens in the future!

I had the mobile version of this a few years ago on a old galaxy tab.

The steam version is the same amazing game as the mobile version, but with many new and nice features without any micro-transactions.

Cannot recommend the game in the current state, will update this review if the game improves.

This is my first impressions;

The game has a very nice vibe to it, it feels like the developers have put a lot of love into it. I really want to like this game.

Unfortunately for me it is almost unplayable in the current state.

There are lots of bugs, although i'm sure they will be improved in the future.
Current problems i'm having are;
-Things that dont work, that should (i.e. having enough of something to make something else but the game saying I haven't. If I sleep and start a new day it lets me make it for some reason)
-Getting stuck in UIs, often times Ill open a UI in the game and the mouse will dissapear, meaning I cannot reach the X to close it, buttons like escape do not work either.)
-No tutorials, you get a couple of hints at the start but other than that you seem to be left to fend for yourself.

Again, the game feels like a lot of hard work has gone into it, but it feels like it has been released way to early.

Edit: I actually managed to destroy my save. I went into the mail sorting UI when I was near passing out but because you cant exit, I passed out whilst in the UI. When I woke up the UI was still there so I attempted to exit the game and reload from when It saved. The save file had actually fully corrupted and my save was lost.

Really amazing game with great depth, the physics are a bit funky at times though

The game itself is ok, the multiplayer on the other hand....

You can only have 2 people in same game at the same time, ruined it for me :C

It launches full screen but once it goes out of full screen you cant put it back in, there isnt an option, wtf
