The policy that had been strongarmed through the Super Earth democratic voting process through illicit measures has since been rescinded, proving once more the strenghts of Managed Democracy and Liberty.

An originally somewhat mediocre launch, carried by a fantastic feed of DLC and probably the best modding community for any game out there. This game goes from okay to absolutely amazing with the likes of the YAML modders, vonSeiten with his biomes / HUD / Solaris 7 and Celestial with the fantastic mech mods.

A great isometric mech stompy shooter with an absolutely fantastic soundtrack. Highly recommended!

Not really sure what to make of this game. I went in expecting more of a full game, but got something more akin to a demo version.

The game drew me in with the artwork and I was hoping for some interesting choices or paths down the storyline. But there's literally only one option and all it changes is what Gallery CG you unlock. The ending it results in is still the same, no matter what choice you make.

It's clear that the devs want to make more out of this, going by the ending card message. Here's to hope that they improve on what they have and add some more meat to the whole game, because right now it's looking pretty slim.

As I said before, the artwork is pretty good. Although the design is very hit or miss on the characters, Tsuyuri standing out the most, not matching any of the others in any way or form. The cast of "villains" is just a case of copy/paste with differently coloured hair and eyes.

Storywise it's quite lacking. The background story is way too short and thin, you don't know anything about the main character apart from him being a "Rising Judo Star" and see traces of him being a stuttering and silly carbon copy of most bland animé MC's with a little dash of Gary Stu over him. The girl cast is nice, but you hardly get to know them in the short time that you get to play (aka: read) the game. Just when you get to the point that you start to see some development, it ends.

Then there's the writing. Sentences have very stiff structure, some come out almost as if they were translated literally from Japanese even though the game is English from the start. Some sentences have several spelling errors and grammar issues. The main writer also seems to have a fetish for the word "seemingly". So the game could do with some serious quality checking, including a couple of editors and proof readers before getting released.

So in short, would I recommend this game for VN / Eroge fans? Not really. You'll get some light fanservice, nothing overly lewd. The writing is subpar and the ending way too quick with nothing really major in terms of choices. I have to give it to the devs for the art though, for being their first (?) game it is quite well done. But other than that this doesn't really go to any great lenghts to improve on the genre.
