The player count is too low for matchmaking to put together a fair match with players of similar ranks (cards), especially with the number of modes you can queue for (you also can't play against bots with your party, but that's less than a critical issue).

The networking code seems to have bad rubber banding no matter which mode you pick or who you get matched with, this is my bigger issue with the game and makes the game pretty hard to play.

I've have encountered a match with cheaters/exploiters but so far it's only been a single match, busting out-of-bounds and killing my partner and I with one shot.

The overall style is wonderful and unique for a 3D game of this caliber, but currently the new player experience is poor, correct this and the player base will be able to better grow and be healthier, otherwise this will suffer alongside the other arena shooters; not being skilled enough is one thing, but your character gets progressively better via the card upgrade system.

There are other problems, but these are the core issues (to me) currently.

This game does not support Mixed Reality controllers, I could not actually play the game and I couldn't even accept the "Code of Conduct" prompt.

This is a socially powered game built entirely on user-generated content, there's no point to have an anti-cheat for any reason (with the exception of being harmful to other users), implementing one would KILL mods which are big part of user-generated content, this can't stand and if the beta becomes lives- VRChat as we know it will be no more.

Team Fortress 2 is the evolution of class-based shooters to do well with what it set out to do, an art style with a set of fleshed out characters with solid gameplay mechanics, following with future expansions to the lore that can be found outside of the game and content updates, all wrapped up in a nice package.

It has become the oldest game to be supported by its developers (even if slowing down with age) and has continued to live on in the hearts of many as a result, empowering the weirdness of this universe to those expressing it, whether it be with cosmetics, animations, custom content, you name it.

It'll forever be embedded in gaming history as the unique timeless classic it is.
