Lovely game, though it's successor 5 will always be #1 to me. Not a huge fan of the augments and scouring in the DS remake to find every hidden item! The story was always very interesting to me though I feel they could've done better in including the Lunarian race.. And maybe surrender equipment when a character is forced to leave the party for whatever reason, but still 8/10 to this title.

When I first played this as a kid I thought the story was going to go in a certain direction.. Locke x Terra anyone? It didn't, coupled with the insane multitude of characters who sport less than interesting backgrounds and not adding much significance to the story at hand, I mean look at Celes for a moment she could've given us more insight on General Leo and the Empire but we didn't get to see that in detail at all really. It felt so rushed and half baked which I feel the same flavor sits with our later antagonist and a few side stories.

Getting to the point, the game is at best a 6/10 for me. Do I recommend it? Sure. Are the mechanics good to me? No, not at all it could've been set up much better but instead it's like a cheap downgrade from Final Fantasy V's job system!

Very awesome game, the storyline is very interesting in my opinion. And it really goes to show how the characters actually have emotional moments in regards to other characters or even something from their past. Even though the grinding is a bit tedious with getting more class abilities I give this a solid 10/10 because it will always be one of my top 5 FF games.

Great for finding old and new games to play, however some of the community is less than friendly in certain aspects, you could join a server wanting players and end up with an instant kick instead of them just locking the server with a password. The moderating isn't very good either and you tend to see bullying on both sides and it doesn't help that the mods themselves are condescending egoists. But I wholeheartedly recommend this for people wanting to find both new and old games to play, watch out for the disruptive internet trolls!

The game could be a bit more balanced and there needs to be something done about the spawn campers that's for sure, maybe put something in where you get a penalty for walking too close into the opposing teams spawn. Eitherway I recommend it for all my friends, great way to waste time and have some giggles with just about anyone whether they be opponents or otherwise..
