Fun game, but too expensive for the content it currently provides. Gameplay-wise, the battle mechanics are tiresome and the pacing feels off.

Wait for a good discount, or for more content & gameplay improvements.

Stop locking mods behind your own company platform and release them on the Steam Workshop.

After years of waiting, this game has at last achieved a proper sense of scale, along with enough features and buildings to keep you entertained for a couple of dozen hours.

It's been over half a year since the release of Victoria 3, and the first DLC we get is a flavour pack for... France. Even when I keep my opinion about "French flavour" aside, I'm still quite disappointed with the lack of progress on the game so far. this DLC just feels completely out of touch with what the game actually needs.

All this time the community's been asking for meaningful mechanics and content. How about making more general events for every country so we don't have to hear about dyeworks accidents and how "we shall all dye sooner or later" 5 times in each campaign. How about adding good content that Victoria II had for over a decade but which is still not in this game. How about revamping the rather bare-bones military system and making troops and generals actually interesting and enjoyable.

Even the mechanics of Foreign Investment, Regional Influence, and Power Blocs which are part of the (leaked?) DLC Sphere of Influence, are just too little, too late. I was always fine with paying for it, but now you're telling me I'm going to have to wait another full year for the first major DLC to be able to invest in foreign countries?

Now I bought this DLC because I really do like this game, and want it to succeed. But at the pace you guys are going, it's going to be 2030 before this game even starts showcasing its potential... Personally I was hoping for that to happen (at the latest) at the end of 2024.

Don't let what happened to Imperator: Rome happen to Vicky 3.

Last but not least, stop locking non-cosmetic content behind pre-ordering DLCs. It's not a good look.
