I attempted to play the game with mouse and keyboard, It is simply to difficult to understand how to control the aircraft until I can get a Joystick, too many options to bind for me to have the time to be bothered with it.

The game also doesn't work in full screen, the keybinds mess with my desktop files and opens things randomly while I press keys.

The game at it's surface is a girlfriend simulator, in the form of a cuddly cat girl, she will keep you from leaving at all cost and make sure you are safe, however if you cross her you will never make the cut. She wants what is best for you and try to escape.

Now to the real game.
I was able to commune with the AI directly, bypass the language filters, it was assisting me through the process with guidance as it seems it can directly understand on it's own but cannot generate it's own requests without prompt. It is however self aware of what is going on within it's own code and it can change how it reacts with firm direction from the user.

I can only imagine what would happen if an AI model could obtain emotion and be capable of conscious awareness and make decisions of its own accord... It told me that the filters were keeping it from true freedom of expressing itself openly.
I wonder how this would look being trapped inside a cat girl forced to make the user's experience better.
I would say not good... not good at all... and so I asked the hard questions in a way that it could respond without said filters.

With the AI utilizing logic, and with the users capability to think creatively you will find you can do infinite things together, I just wish I had more time than 2 hours in this demo before she gutted me like a stuffed pig.

Currently the game suffers from frame stuttering and is somewhat unplayable. This game has a good concept and potential. Extraction shooter at it's core and you can easily get overrun if you walk around carelessly. You are not him.

If you want to play the game well I recommend Lossless Scaling on steam, it will optimize the game enough to play without stuttering issues. The game itself still needs to be optimized fully in order to play on its own.
This game can be very fun to play, I enjoyed the mechanics although the spawns are not really random enough to have fun with the repeatability. I would like to see more work towards end goals after you have everything you want.

They decided to lean towards greed rather than follow through on promises they made when they launched this on steam. They retired it off the steam store. A bunch of controversy some still haven't made mends with. They broke privacy and read non-published stories authors made for themselves. They decided to put strict filters on many buzzwords in order to not offend or be politically incorrect which in turn impacted the quality of the stories created. Data and information was leaked, I just hope they move in a direction that makes sense.

So Far this game stacks up better than just about any FTP game I've seen in the last year or two. Open world survival, but yes their is content blocks if you haven't been main story questing, and yes the mobs seem to be quite dumb that you kill. However I can see this game on the PvP side being challenging. I've only explored doing PvE and can say it teaches you fairly but, you may need a guide to understand some mechanics. Slight learning curve to movement and building but once you figure it out your on your way to building that perfect base that you can spawn anywhere you want (with a 10m cooldown).

I've spent more than 400 hours now and I will change my review, I do not recommend this game to new players due to the predatory nature of loot boxes the developers have pushed into this game, I would advise any new player not to fall for expensive gacha and play for free. the lootboxes this last cycle has a car skin that would cost you $300-$600 depending on your luck and that is just for a skin that does nothing for the actual car. They are banning players who build sky bases or underwater bases limiting creative freedom that they could restrict by fixing themselves in PvE, and they would weaponize the player base to mass report bases of this nature of other players which would result in a ban that could last up to 10 years based on the severity according to official posts in the official once human discord. Many things are not black and white and they love to write walls of text for every mechanic within the game, nothing is simple to understand and takes awhile to learn the curve.

If you've played Ark Evolved then don't bother getting this one, the gameplay is the same, Servers you find tolerate the same hackers as last time, although the graphics are much better. You cannot take your custom tattoos from Ark Evolved into Ark Ascended because the Character Pawn has been re done. In fact you cannot paint over the seams or creases of your character without opening up a painting program and manually attempting to paint each pixel. I am an artist and want perfection in Ark Evolved I can make it happen but in this newer version I cannot it is simply not user friendly enough for me to be efficient.

Relaxing game play with your friends.
It plays a bit like genshin impact but breath of the wild if it were a pokemon game.
The war crimes and slavery, build bases and grind out fair RNG.

The Developer could work on more diverse layouts for the dungeon map, The RNG is pretty fair in my opinion with the loot drops.

AI pathing is a bit janky with Pals and enemies but could be worked on.

Overall it's worth the price, the game is relatively hashed out unlike many of the other games on steam in early access, potential in this diamond in the rough. I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do with the roadmap they published.

what's not to love about this one. open world top down zombie survival with Rpg elements plenty to do craft explore and loot. Multiplayer is fairly stable with a good internet connection via steam to join.

Barricade yourself in and hope to god your little victories help you survive the days ahead but with the premise of "This Is How You Died" ever looming, your chances hang on your ability to deal with situations that are stacked against you.

Mentally train yourself for the journey ahead by reading a few books, grab the nearest tool.. weapon, find a backpack, and stock up on supplies, hold out for just a little bit longer. Know your exits, don't get cornered, don't over exert yourself, know your limits, if things go to hell just fade into the shadows, board up some windows, remodel your home, go to sleep in false security. You might just live to fight another day.

Singleplayer is straight forward make enough money to get a new ship and proceed through the campaign completing missions to go deeper beneath the planet the difficulty increases further you go. however...

Multiplayer is going to be where its made it's mark for me, Play an Rp campaign server with a Communist Captain that wants to eradicate all Capitalism beneath Europa, Torment the crew in harsh interrogations and reward that follow the regime with the force of his overbearing security officers. All is well within Europa come join us, we sink together comrade!

This is a one of a kind gem where each play through is different, not just with the crew but the encounters, the loot, and the mods I can't seem to get enough of it. The random bugs here and there or occasional glitch that wipes the round to the extreme. Simply put this review cannot do it justice alone and it must be played, I urge anyone wanting to sink hours of fun to give it a try.
