Honestly,
Huge fan of Verdun, thought Tannenburg was a bit of an oversized dlc, got hyped for this game.
However the developed have rubbed me royaly in the wrong way with this title.
1. They have failed to fix their issues with some people being able to connect to their servers, for exsample I cant connect to any of their games servers from my dorm internet which is not an issue in literaly any other title I have played
2, The fact that they had day 1 dlc that was more than the price of the base game when they never gave any indication of that prior is honestly disgusting. Like what the ♥♥♥♥ you couldn't go five minutes without cramming it in.

all in all still cant play the game when not at home, an issue they have had since day 1 of verdun release.

like the game wish they took notes from some of the mods that add more depth

Not a bad game but oh God the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending, spoilers but after spending hours in a story with characters that you control only to be killed in a text box fight that feels random at best is the most bs thing. ♥♥♥♥ this game, cane back to do acheivments hope I never play one of this devs games again.

This is not a "remaster"
It is a blatantly mobile focused port.
The Ui that gave Rome its character has been stripped for some "fancy" buttons and boxes.
Their "improvements" mainly boil down to fixing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game so it runs on modern systems, or you know its just an update to their old game, so something they should have done for free when they sold the original product.
The AI is not improved greatly and the biggest issue of all, path finding, is unfixed. In fact with the larger unit scaling the issue is worse.
PATHFINDING, for gods sake the one thing that, besides modern system compatibility, that ruined the original has gone unfixed it what is supposed to be the definitive and ultimate remaster.

And please, to the shills, don't just say modders will fix this. Do you know how awful that is, a company you payed money to wont fix their product but you expect regular people who you wont pay or thank to fix a multi million-dollar corporations mistakes, come on.

I genuinely loved what they did with the first game and they continue to show why they achieved so much p[raise and popularity through their continuing support and commitment to this game.

Not to mention the various improvements and additions made since the first insurgency and just how gosh darn gorgeous the game can look at times.

Its simple Bethesda has awful business practices and this game is still a buggy unoptimized garbage fire.
