Early Access Review
So initial thoughts on the game with only one hour played- I bought the game with a group of 3 other friends (so we had a full 4 to play.) and noticed it was a small download, so we got in the game quickly. I will say the lack of matchmaking kinda sucks, but the game is in early access and they have stated they do have plans to implement it later on (Currently they link the GTFO discord pretty much every where in the game where they have dedicated channels to look for other players).

I will say this game looks and feels great to play, and it is really not easy at all, there is no tutorial so you have to figure out a lot on your own, terminals is the primary example ill use because you have a lot of functions within them that you don't really know how to use unless someone tells you or you spend time in the terminal to figure it out. I do have to say there is a lot of exploration and HEAVY team communication needed to progress and to potentially even reach the objective of said mission. Ammo is sparse, med packs don't heal for much of anything, loot isn't the most common thing (at least that i have noticed) but that all plays a part in which you have to learn how to stealth and take things out quickly and efficiently just so when an alarm trips on a door and you get flooded you can survive.

Honestly, with what this game is right now its great, sure i wish matchmaking was in the game but they have alternate ways around that right now- while its not a long term fix it is a temporary problem.

If you don't have people to play with i still highly recommend this game and to use the LFG on discord, Or if you do have friends try to get them to at least watch the trailer- it grabs attention very very well.

I started playing this game once it was released on steam, and it was a good game- There was a tree of skills in a sense that allowed there to be sperate tiers which allowed people to play games based on tiers, which was nice, however like most other games there were a string of bad updates.

Unlike others though I personally think that the way the game is now isn't as bad as everyone says it is. Me and four friends redownloaded the game recently and even though i miss the old ways to get the different parts etc i still find the crate system fairly useful. You always get one for playing a game and you get one for leveling up so you always seem to get them fairly quick, which these award you with robits (Always forget what they're called) and parts. And i dont know if its my luck or if its just other people complaining but the "Imbalance" of games seems little to none. I've played 20-30 games both with friends and by myself and all the games i've played has been fun, both winning and losing them- Some games youll simply get countered by others robots since there are counters to specific types of bots. But past that there is still team work as long as you attempt to communicate.

I still enjoy this game a lot- its really fun (By myself, but is totally better with friends). I'd still recommend this game to anyone i met. Hope this review allowed some to see past all of this "Nostalgia is better" wall.
