VALVE is a company that hasn't been able to develop a proper anti-cheat system since 2002 because they haven't come up with anything better than signature scanning. Recently, they banned players in TF2 по HWID, which can be bypassed with any spoofer :)

The patrol banned me for cheats that I didn't use, obviously they decided that interfering with a normal game and looking through walls is the same thing. Yes, I ruined the game for my teammates, but for this I should be banned for 30 days, not forever. Even my stats show that I kill very little, I would provide a demo if it was available.
