Love the game so far, don't bother with the DLC as it is just some low level gear that you'll replace rather quickly, some mediocre character skins, and some potions (you do get an xp trinket but it doesnt make a whole lot of difference).

Buy the base game, don't get any dlc.

I didn't enjoy this game when I first got it, but after some time the game has had decent improvement and if you give it a chance and decide to not give up it's pretty fun. You will die immediately at least once or twice but once you get the hang of it the game is awesome, and there's a massive map to explore alone or with your friends.

I miss the gold old days of 2016-17 when this game was fun as hell to play with friends. Been downhill since pubg came out as the only players who still play are amazing and its hard to find a lobby with a decent amount of players
