It's free, it's quality, why not play?

The game is a complete mess. The game design is just a bunch of random mechanics with 0 interplay between them, it's unclear how to progress through a lot of the game without googling things thanks to the 'non-linear storyline' (who actually wants a non linear storyline please tell me?).
Not to mention the game isn't exactly stable, it made me play one mission out twice, the AI goes between having eyes in the back of its head and being completely moronic.
The delivery of the story is also just terrible, so much of the game gets repeated or just doesn't make sense due to the aforementioned non-linearity.
The game started out charming, unique and quirky, but clearly flawed. But by the end it was nothing but intolerable to try and play.

Awesome! Only had two fights but I can tell already this is a masterpiece!

The game nearly works

Despite the review bombing it's actually a pretty good game that gets regular updates.
Soundtrack goes hard.
