How did I not discover this game earlier? After only 1 hour I can already tell that this is one of the best survival games and the best "Robinson Crusoe" or stranded on a desert island survival type of game. My first game ended after having survived 3 days and died via dehydration which was my fault by spending time butchering a boar that I hunted instead of drinking water from the coconuts that I still had. Next goal = survive 30 days so that I can unlock the tourist starting character which seems to be essentially hardmode as the hunter starting character has many beneficial traits, while the tourist has mostly negative traits.

Every action takes a certain amount of time in the game. You can spend time crafting, exploring the area you are currently in, building, sleeping etc. pretty much what you would expect in any survival game, just that here you don't directly control your character but it's all done via cards as you can see in the screenshots. The top left card is your current type of environment, the other top cards is everything in your environment that you can interact with to gather resources or your crafted camp/base or move to different environment, the middle row of cards is all the items in your current environment that can be used for crafting etc. and the third row is your inventory essentially allowing up to 6 different items, but you can also have backpacks, baskets etc. on you as equipment that can hold several smaller items.

The game is quite in depth with plenty of ways to die. It seems there is a small amount of randomness involved but overall it's mostly about skill and managing priorities correctly. Definitely a 9/10 game in the survival genre. The only thing holding it back is the graphics. I do like the item/card based graphics, but the art itself could have been done a bit better, otherwise it would be 10/10.
