Fun AF!

Super chilled game

The game is a modern gem, no micro transactions. No battle passes etc.

The match making feels good to me, but I play 1v1, I know some people have trouble in full 4 man teams.

I like the siege changes of the recent patch. People complaining that there is no counter to siege now, just don't want to experiment with cavalry and other combos. They would prefer to sit in their base for 40 minutes and then build 20 springalds when the enemy comes knocking.

I enjoyed the campaign, and am currently enjoying the multiplayer with friends and even ranked 1v1.

I bought this game to support devs who don't conform to online bullies. I am also actually enjoying the game!

The original game was about building large sprawling Egyptian cities, where you play the role of powerful leaders. So why on earth would you make the art style cartoony?

You made no attempt to iterate on the old game and actually add any quality-of-life improvements. The walker system has not been improved, you can't even modify roadblocks to allow, restrict access based to occupation.

The UX is garbage, why does the original "clear" button say "repair your mistakes"??? It doesn't repair, it never did... And 9/10 players use it to clear trees or re-plan certain parts of their cities, it's not a mistake.

Why can't I pan the camera when I have the housing tool selected?
Why can I not scroll slightly past the edge of the map so that I can place buildings on the edge easier?
Why did you not add more beautification options?
Why is combat somehow worse than previous games?

Old Pharaoh: Jugglers, musicians, and dancers would go to the festival square during a festival. "Oh that's a cool detail that shows that the devs knew it made sense to have entertainers go to the festival"
New Pharaoh: *Shows musicians at festival even though you don't have a single musician in the city* "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the devs couldn't care less"

Actual real loading screen "tip": "A well known secret is that hippos are the best dancers but ostriches have more swag". Yup, not kidding. 101 on how to break immersion.

Steaming hot pile of garbage.

Combat is deep, building is satisfying, and lore is good. Better than any AAA game, this is worth the money

Game won't even start properly. Just has a white screen... I've had similar issues with other track mania titles.

Confusing mess.

An excellent classic that I poured many hours into before. A game with indepth mechanics that have you balancing food, commerce, military, religion and trade all to build a well estblished settlement for the kingdom.
