Rust, for people who don't like the "rustiness" of Rust.

Picture a less toxic VRC with the ability to do anything your imagination can fathom "on the fly!!"

A totally free (VR/DESKTOP) virtual UNIVERSE sandbox that allows you to seamlessly drag and drop almost any kind of media into a virtual world and hand it to a friend..

The team here is one of the most intelligent group of people i have ever met, the hardcore scripter/programmers have the ability to use a custom built in visual scripting language within the world "on the fly" and bring the most basic of things to life!!!
I have always seen this as the leading "but hidden software of another name" as one of the most powerful and interactive tools in the VR world to date!...

If you really want to dive deep, Expect a big learning curve.
Do not expect to hop in and know what you're doing..
BUT that's fine, the discord community are always VERY helpful.

I truly believe that with this "new" release, we can expect to see the limitlessness of this to expand to even greater limits!

So just to be honest up front..

Most investors won't even look at a dev's project that doesn't have a Season Battlepass or In-Game purchases.
That being said, this one is horrid!, the fact that you can't even keep them is why there's all these bad reviews... and i agree it's a joke!...
Now that's out of the way, lets talk about THE GAME...

The game is good!....

Play it and make up your own mind.

Left 4 Dead had a baby with The Division and called it "After The Fall"... But put it in VR!! :D
This is a fantastic game!

After a bit of a learning curve this is a must have for hyperactive VR users!
It knocks the other "paid" overlays out of the park!
And even better, It's FREE!!
Even if it wasn't, i would still recommend this to everyone!

Honestly, DON'T listen to any bad reviews from people who have only played it for an hour or so, because this game is very very early in development, so visually it may not look very polished but it truly as a LOT of potential if you give it a chance...

The dev team is a group of amazing people who are eager to hear your feedback good and bad so they can learn from it and improve it.

I have been a part of this beta for quite a while, sadly I haven't been able to play it as much as I'd like due to work, but i saw how much better this game became through a very short time,

I honestly believe that in time this game will explode into one of the most fun open world/battle royals you can play in vr or desktop with your friends who don't yet have vr.

The only issue I see so far is that desktop players have a massive advantage over vr players in battle royal.

It's not quite gtav vr, it's more like gta 3 or 4 vr, but for anyone who actually has knowledge of game development would understand what's involved to make ANY game 'VR Compatible" even pop:one had to break down and decimate a lot for it to run smoothly in VR, and this map is like 4x the size of theirs...

Bottom line, this game is fun!
And the price is right!!!,
So support this development team so they can further improve the game!!

...... When you pretty much abandoned the original project that we all paid for back then "MPVR" to push a "new" product, "MP-Studio" with a subscription paywall to actually use the ability to export and some of the advanced features you learned from the original MPVR community.
That is when you lost me...... Sorry...

I have been playing this game for YEARS!!
I actually had forgotten about having the yearly sub for almost 5y!
So i was kinda pleased to come back with all the extra cartel coins! D:

But i don't know what it is about that game that always has me coming back, it's good to just grind solo, or join up and make some friends..

Either way i totally love this game, try it out, why not?! it's free!

I have tried a lot of VR creative development programs and 3D modeling applications,
but there's something sweet about modbox for me.
I don't know if it's the easy satisfaction of just hopping in and creating something fun out of a template, and making my own little flair with it.
Or that it's just very easy to learn the basics to get you started quick, but it also has many elements for a much more involved development for those who are more savvy and like to dig a little deeper.

For fun, i tossed my 5 year old in the Giant template game and ran around on desktop as he tried to squish me in VR.

Can't wait to see some of the creations people come up with now that it's updated to MODBOX 2! :D
