This game actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, everything about it is tedious, there is no fun part of the game, not even mowing down the hordes of zombies is fun, it's a chore of a game, something that could truly only be enjoyed by a console gamer.

absolutely awful game, bizzare gameplay design choices at every turn and graphically hideous to boot.

Super tropey story with the most contrived plot points you've ever experienced, if you don't see every single turn the plot is about to make from a mile away you most likely don't know what a book, movie or video game is either.

Played the whole game without ever installing G4WL.
Do not follow the unnecessary guides for installing it, search for an xliveless mod.

Terrible, just terrible, the fact that this is considered better than Dead Island somehow is mind boggling, it took everything that was fine with Dead Island, got rid of it, fixed none of the problems Dead Island had, added a new feature NOBODY wanted, and changed the location to a boring, ugly, piece of ♥♥♥♥ location, full of boring ugly piece of ♥♥♥♥ people. The writing is trash, the characters and trash, the co-op is the only redeeming feature about this game, and even with 3 friends, we can barely stand playing this absolute ♥♥♥♥♥.

I sure hope they give some talentless hacks the chance to taint L4D1 with their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ beta mods just like L4D2, that would make L4D1 the bestest game ever!!!!!

I simply can't recommend this.
I was a boy when I first found this game, I'm not even a teenager anymore, the lack of progress made in several years is absolutely astounding, playing some of the very first alpha builds again, it's actually incredible how they still feel so similar to the game now.
I am actually perhaps, foolish enough to believe that this game will one day be complete, with all promised features, but will it have been worth the wait at that point? How many customers might never get to see what they paid for? It's been a long time since some of us paid for a game we could never have imagined would take so long.
