No more stuttering. Still lacking contents though.

#one week into CS2#

Still tons of stuttering and input lags, the lag peek is now a thing.

The CS2 Day-1 Experience:

You moved one bit;
Game lagged twice;
Got HS by someone not yet seen on screen...

Finally AOE1DE becomes playable with decent pathfinding and proper AI.
The 3 new campaigns are brand new and feels modern enough. They are quite challenging on Hard difficulty, but could be more fun if given higher pop caps. The usual 50/75 in most missions just feel so cramped.
Since this new type of DLC is marketed as a self-contained experience, I do hope there will be more content planned for both "datasets" in the future, as meaningful updates for AOE1DE are way long overdue. After all the devteam will only need to maintain one set of codes from now on.

In short: 7/10, could use some more new contents; QoL features with AOE1 mechanism are welcome.

A must-have for all VR headset owners!

Incredibly fun and heaps of contents!

1. Get's boring REALLY FAST!
2. Monotonous gameplay: flying(costs fuels), walking(life support costs fuels) and mining(costs more fuels)
3. Planets are bascially the same.
4. Sentinels are PITA!

That's about my experience with this game. Perhaps I didn't play it right?

I bought two copies of this game and one for my friend to coop with me. Now that's double the money down the drain...
