Contrary to the most reviews, i wouldn't say that this game is hard + stressful + frustrating.
It is in a "good way" challenging.

You are free to experiment in different ways of managing a city in a post-apocalyptic world, but the game is made in such a way, that "your" way might be not the most efficient. So yeah, mostly you will fallback to the beaten routes of the most effective methods of ruling the people.

And yet, when you think that Frostpunk has nothing else to offer, different scenarios provide slightly different flavors of new challenges, so that you won't be bore looking for new solutions to new problems.

A solid recommendation.

EDIT: Didn't manage to get perfect ending on Winterhome scenario on medium difficulty TWICE already, i take my words back, this is hard :)

Greatest comeback of all time, a lesson to be learned by other developers.

I have no explanation why I've been putting off this game for 10 solid years. Never had so much fun solving puzzles, and really enjoyed Half-Life shared Universe Lore. I guess that's why this game will remain a cult classic. A solid recommendation!

The Lore of Crying Suns is well crafted and thoroughly deep.
Bought it to support the Alt Shift, they did a very nice job!

Just would like to thank devs for this experience. The combination of deep lore, moody artstyle and wonderful soundtrack just perfectly hit the spot. Not to say that gameplay wasn't good, it was a nice balance of tactics and thinking in advance. There were some rough spots, but the plot just kept me hooked. And it really differentiates Crying Suns from many other rogue-likes, which have much shallower story. So thanks Alt Shift, looking forward to your next game!

Early Access Review
Even though it seems that devs abandoned this game, it's still solid fun, and wayyyyyyyyyy better than any battlefield at this point. If there was an option for neutral review, then it would be it, only because the future of this game is unclear.

This version of the game gets not enough attention it deserves! We've waited for so long, and when it became available, the hype was already gone :(
In any case, my review is a thank you to the team that was working on this FREE update. It is very nice, and very well done. Thank you!

I've put this game aside for so many years. BIG MISTAKE.

After 10 years of collecting dust in my Steam Library, finally gave this game a go, and it was just amazing.
Story was neat and compelling, character motivations were well-written, while gameplay was easy to get into, and fun to master.
And OST by Darren Korb deserves a separate mention, it was just amazing. "Build the Wall" is going to stick with me for the rest of my life :)

Story is cunningly written in a such way, that it implies that you have to complete the game at least one more time to make both play-throughs intertwined :) Considering that, I believe that the only true way to complete this game is to choose "Restoration" on the fist play-through, and "other" choice on the second.

Also don't be shy to look for some achievement advice in steam guides, it saved me a lot of time.
